Worst airline
Worst airline, uneducated staff, too much drama, very rude talking.
Is there less than
Is there less than? One star. I have been flying for literally 10 years, and I have never once had such a bad experience. The flight was delayed, and the seat I paid for was not assigned to me; it ended up in the worst seat, and they didn't deliver my baggage when I arrived because they say it's delayed tried to connect with customer care for 3 hrs ending up with such a bad response. NEVER FLY WITH QATAR
My journey was significantly disrupted…
My journey was significantly disrupted due to a 5-hour delay after the aircraft assigned to our flight arrived late at Red Sea International Airport because of technical issues. While I understand that safety must always come first, I was disappointed by how the disruption and affected connections were handled.
During the delay, I proactively contacted Qatar Airways' online customer service and also spoke with the airline's representative at RSI regarding my onward flight to Abu Dhabi. Since it was obvious the delay would affect my connection, I expected some guidance or reassurance. Unfortunately, neither was able to provide any information or solution, leaving me uncertain throughout the entire delay.
Upon arrival in Doha, a Qatar Airways staff member met passengers with disrupted connections and asked Abu Dhabi passengers to wait for updated boarding passes. He distributed the new passes one by one, collecting each passenger's old boarding pass and immediately handing over the replacement, which had already been prepared.
I was the only female passenger traveling to Abu Dhabi from our flight, yet I was the last Abu Dhabi passenger to be attended to. Instead of issuing my boarding pass, the staff member moved on to passengers traveling to the UK, whose flight boarded later than mine. I had to repeatedly follow up while my flight was about to board. Only after he finished assisting the UK passengers did he finally issue my replacement boarding pass.
I appreciate the professionalism and courtesy of the cabin crew throughout the delay. However, the lack of communication during the disruption and the disorganized handling of connecting passengers in Doha fell far below the standard I expect from Qatar Airways. My concern is not the technical delay itself, but how it was managed. I hope Qatar Airways improves communication during disruptions and ensures passengers with the most urgent connections are prioritized appropriately.

Canceled my flight without sending…
Canceled my flight without sending email, so when i was about to check in found out flight been canceled. Got confirm mail that refund is done but they forget 300€ so didnt get full price back...
I had an extremely disappointing…
I had an extremely disappointing experience flying with Qatar Airways while traveling with my twin babies. I expected a world-class airline to show compassion and professionalism, especially toward families with infants, but the cabin crew were incredibly rude, unhelpful, and seemed completely inexperienced in handling passengers with young children.
Instead of offering assistance, the crew made us feel like we were a burden. They lacked empathy, were dismissive whenever we asked for help, and showed no understanding of how challenging it is to travel with twin babies. Their attitude was cold and unprofessional throughout the flight.
This was one of the worst flying experiences I have ever had. I chose Qatar Airways because of its reputation, but the service I received was far below expectations. I will seriously reconsider flying with Qatar Airways again and cannot recommend it to families traveling with infants unless the airline improves its customer service and properly trains its cabin crew.
Be careful with there cancellations…
Be careful with there cancellations policies they do not refund any expenses you occurr whilst waiting to get on the next available flight. I had to wait a week I understand they don't compensate as not a UK company however should atleast cover expenses. Terrible experience and really hard to discuss anything with them has taken me 3 months to get a final response from them.
Worst experience at Qatar airways from…
Worst experience at Qatar airways from LRH to Doha . Very bad customer service . Flight delayed . Worst management never book a flight through qatar airways .
My wife suffered a miscarriage a month…
My wife suffered a miscarriage a month ago. I organized a surprise trip to support her and help lift her spirits. Unfortunately, during the trip, she became seriously ill, and we were unable to enjoy our vacation.
Today, I contacted customer support to request a change to our return flight from July 9 to July 12. I was told that I had to pay a penalty fee in addition to the fare difference.
I explained the circumstances to the customer service representative, but they showed no willingness to listen and no empathy for our situation. No goodwill gesture or any form of assistance was offered. It was a very disappointing experience, especially given the exceptional circumstances.
I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with Qatar Airways during my trip from Abu Dhabi to Doha on flight QR1045 on July 4, 2026.
I was carrying a small quantity of frozen fish for personal consumption, properly packed in a sealed insulated foam box. At check-in, I was told by a staff member that the item could not be accepted because "the police would stop it," and I was forced to dispose of it before being allowed to continue my journey.
What was most frustrating was that no clear explanation, written policy, or official regulation was provided. In addition, another checked bag in our travel party contained fish and was accepted without any issue, eventually entering Qatar successfully. This inconsistency raises serious concerns about how the rules are being applied.
The staff member's attitude was also unprofessional and discourteous. Instead of providing assistance or a proper explanation, the situation was handled in a dismissive manner that left a very negative impression.
As a result, I was forced to dispose of items worth approximately AED 800. I have submitted a formal complaint and am awaiting a response from Qatar Airways.
Very disappointing experience and far below the level of service I would expect from a world-class airline
Don’t fly on this airline you will regret it believe me
Terrible food toilets dirty seats like cardboard. Starlink they say is the next gen in air travel, what a load of rot drops out constantly. If Qatar was the only airline in world I would honestly take a boat even if it took a week. Never again

Trying to contact Qatar customer services to see if possible to change a flight as it seems I can't do it in the app. Called one advertised phone number that referred me to an English speaking number that just dropped out. Another advertised option says they have a whatsapp chat service...nope that's not working either, message saying please try again later. First time with Qatar but won't use again.
My belongings have been mishandled and…
My belongings have been mishandled and was refused to be returned… every time I explained the situation I was cut off interrupted and disrespected… my belongings have been reported to be stolen, reported to be is multiple locations and 1 bag is missing. When bags were claimed on time of the employees refused to have the bags claimed and claimed my belongings were is other locations…. The problem was never solved… I would never recommend this company. I was also charged for a ticket I never received and was not refunded from the company site…. This is a serious offense
Disgusting attitude regarding enforced cancellation.
Disgusting attitude. Like many others recently - cancelled flight, very un collaborative support agents on the chat & phone. I'm not asking them to move mountains, but the complete lack of willingness to at least try help fix the issue is baffling. Zero flexibility. I also had a hotel booking (via Qatar Airways Holidays) in Doha for the layover which we can no longer make use of, and they refuse to refund it. Again - I understand this was non-refundable, but under the circumstances you'd expect a little more common decency.
Left alone after flight disruption – almost three times the original cost
Terrible experience after flight disruption – left alone with huge extra costs
My return flight from Bangkok to Düsseldorf with Qatar Airways was disrupted. The ticket was bought through Booking.com / Gotogate, total price EUR 686.93.
Because of the disruption, I had to buy a replacement ticket with another airline for around EUR 1,050 and pay for additional hotel nights in Bangkok and Amsterdam. In total, this situation cost me almost three times more than my original ticket.
Qatar Airways did not provide a practical solution for me as a passenger. I was left to deal with everything myself.
Qatar Airways later confirmed in writing that the refund had been processed and returned to the issuing travel agency. In the end, I received only EUR 158.70 back.
For weeks I was sent back and forth between Qatar Airways and Booking/Gotogate. Qatar Airways referred me to the agency, while the agency referred to airline fare rules.
I find this completely unacceptable. A passenger should not be left alone after a flight disruption and then lose hundreds of euros in additional costs.
All documents, emails and screenshots are saved.
Worst airline ever
World-class service? That hasn't been my experience.
Qatar Airways cancelled my flight because of the war. Four months later, I still don't have my refund.
I've spent over ₩350,000 (about USD $255) on international calls, spoken to countless agents, and received a different answer every time. One tells me my refund has been processed. Another says it was never submitted. Every time I provide the documents they request, they ask for different ones.
I even asked to convert my refund into a travel voucher. They refused, saying the refund had already been processed—yet they continue asking me for more documents.
Has anyone else experienced this? How did you finally get your refund? After this experience, I can no longer recommend Qatar Airways
Worst refund experience ever
Worst refund experience ever. Nearly 3 months of waiting, repeated follow-ups, and still no refund from Qatar Airways. The lack of communication and urgency from the customer service team is honestly unacceptable.
Customers should not have to beg for updates just to receive money that rightfully belongs to them. Very disappointed with how this situation has been handled.
Qathar air just cancelled my tickets
Just before a 1 month of my travel to India from UK I was informed that my flight has been cancelled I had booked the tickets 7 months ago to get a good deal it cost me 2300 pounds for 3 person it's a very important trip for me so I had to book another airline that cost me 3100 lost around 800 pounds doing so such an irresistible airline no even given an option never had such worst experience
Frequent flier - Qatar is rubbish
Frequent flier, always premium economy or business typically.
Somehow luckily only flown Qatar 2x. Both times my tray in front of seat was broken. One premium economy (South Africa to Qatar) Sep 2025 & one normal economy (Heathrow to Qatar) July 2026.
Both times I tried to upgrade to business, however the flight today I was told I had to do it at the desk. I went online and showed the desk guy it's £2300 to upgrade but he's charging me £3200 for the same upgrade. As I had done the virtual check in the only option was at the desk....
Quality & maintenance is 0/10.
Did 46 flights last year. I will now always avoid Qatar.
Clearly fake premium quality
PS your staff were rude both times to the fact my trays were broken (Unable to sit up) which btw I'm sure is illegal. Once I accept bad luck but 2/2 is a serious airline issue. Both staff attitude & fact your seats are broke!
Do better
I am waiting over 2 months for a refund…
I am waiting over 2 months for a refund of 17,100 SEK for a flight that Qatar cancelled. I had to re-book my flight at a very high cost because hardly any flights were available in march 31 2026. Qatar emailed me that the return process was successful and that I would be receiving my refund within a few bank days (this email was dated April 22, 2026). I called and messaged Qatar around 10 times. Each call gave contradictory information — it seems as though they just lie to get rid of the caller. I've heard that many have not received their refunds, so I'm speculating that Qatar's senior management is systematically lying to their customers and plans not to return them, perhaps because the amounts run into the millions. My strong recommendation is not to use Qatar for your next trip. There are many other more serious airlines.
