This is an a one star airlineline that advertises…
This is an airline that advertises itself as a 5-star one. Nothing is further from the truth and they rank alongside EasyJet and other budget airlines as 1-star.
Back 17 Apr 26 I booked a ticket for my girlfriend to fly Philippines to UK in Nov 26 and as she was heavily pregnant I requested whether I could book a bassinet. I was told by a Qatar Airways (QA)ticket agent there would be no problem and this could all be sorted after the birth.
The first leg in on PAL Express to Manila but it was sold as Qatar Booking. The flight to Doha and onwards to London is on a QA aircraft and flight numbers. Now the baby is born and has a passport I tried this week to add her to the original booking. I am now told that this is impossible as the first leg is on PAL Express. I have been told by the QA call centre they are looking into the matter but am continually told they need another 48 hours. Cancelling the original ticket is not an option as I will loose most of the fee in cancellation charges. Booking another separate ticket is not an option as a 6-month baby cannot travel by itself. She needs to go in a bassinet at my girlfriends seat.
I suggest staying away from this airline as they make statements that are untrue in terms of service they provide and you will find out that that ticket agents do not tell the truth

I have always travelled with Qatar my last experience 3yrs ago , booked a flight days ago and just recently read these reviews!!how scary !! I'm sure I wouldn't have booked with them if I would have visited the review sitej before !!please help !!
Recently flew Qatar Airways round-trip…
Recently flew Qatar Airways round-trip from YYZ to DOH. As a regular traveler with them, this experience was highly disappointing. Both flights used very old aircraft, and the entertainment screens barely worked. The cabin felt cramped and chaotic. The food was good as always, but for everything else, I can only give a 1/5.
Disgraceful customer service
Disgraceful customer service. Nearly four months later and I am still waiting for a refund that Qatar Airways publicly said affected passengers could receive.
My original return ticket cost approximately £1,170.
During the Middle East crisis, Qatar Airways cancelled my scheduled return flight. They then rebooked me onto another flight, which was also cancelled. After multiple cancellations and no certainty over when I would actually get home, I had no choice but to purchase an entirely separate flight with another airline using my own money.
At the time, Qatar Airways publicly communicated across its website and social media that customers affected by these disruptions could choose to receive a refund for the unused value of their ticket. I relied on those communications when requesting my refund.
That is where the nightmare began.
After waiting weeks, I was eventually told I would receive less than £400, despite my original ticket costing around £1,170 and the return journey never being used. I immediately requested a full fare calculation and refund breakdown because the figure made absolutely no sense.
That request was made almost two months ago.
Since then? Nothing.
No refund.
No fare breakdown.
No explanation.
No proactive communication whatsoever.
Every time I chase the case, Qatar Airways tells me to contact GoToGate because the booking was made through an agent. GoToGate then tells me they are waiting for Qatar Airways. Weeks pass with complete silence until I call again, only to hear exactly the same script.
As the customer, I have been left in the middle while two companies pass responsibility between each other.
This entire situation exists because Qatar Airways cancelled my flights, not because I changed my plans. I followed the process Qatar Airways instructed affected passengers to follow, yet I have spent months chasing a refund that still hasn’t materialised.
For an airline that markets itself as one of the best in the world, this level of customer service is unacceptable. Delays happen. Crises happen. What is unacceptable is leaving customers out of pocket for months, providing no transparency over refund calculations and forcing them to do all the chasing themselves.
I expected far better from Qatar Airways.
I am a Qatar Airways Privilege Club…
I am a Qatar Airways Privilege Club member (Member No. 526056855, Burgundy status), and I am very disappointed with how my request was handled.
A total of 3,179 Avios expired in May 2026. I was unable to use them because my travel plans were disrupted by the conflict in the region. These were circumstances beyond my control.
I contacted Qatar Airways only two months after the expiration because I wanted to book a flight from Bangkok to France on 22 July, returning on 13 October. I politely asked for a one-time goodwill exception to have my Avios reinstated.
Although the customer service agent was polite, my request was refused without any flexibility.
I am not asking for compensation. I am simply asking Qatar Airways to reinstate my 3,179 expired Avios as a gesture of goodwill, considering the exceptional circumstances and the fact that I remain a loyal Privilege Club member.
Member No. 526056855.
I sincerely hope Qatar Airways will review my case and restore my Avios. This small gesture would demonstrate that Qatar Airways values customer loyalty and treats its members fairly, especially in exceptional circumstances.
Too long story
Too long story. As Im an individual whithout any importance, without knowing which button to press (which low article recall ) they refused to issue any refund. I had to go to the companies that deal with those things professionally. I will be rip off by them. Maybe I will get back some, a little, money back. Sad. I don't recommend.
Worst airline
Worst airline, uneducated staff, too much drama, very rude talking.
Is there less than
Is there less than? One star. I have been flying for literally 10 years, and I have never once had such a bad experience. The flight was delayed, and the seat I paid for was not assigned to me; it ended up in the worst seat, and they didn't deliver my baggage when I arrived because they say it's delayed tried to connect with customer care for 3 hrs ending up with such a bad response. NEVER FLY WITH QATAR
My journey was significantly disrupted…
My journey was significantly disrupted due to a 5-hour delay after the aircraft assigned to our flight arrived late at Red Sea International Airport because of technical issues. While I understand that safety must always come first, I was disappointed by how the disruption and affected connections were handled.
During the delay, I proactively contacted Qatar Airways' online customer service and also spoke with the airline's representative at RSI regarding my onward flight to Abu Dhabi. Since it was obvious the delay would affect my connection, I expected some guidance or reassurance. Unfortunately, neither was able to provide any information or solution, leaving me uncertain throughout the entire delay.
Upon arrival in Doha, a Qatar Airways staff member met passengers with disrupted connections and asked Abu Dhabi passengers to wait for updated boarding passes. He distributed the new passes one by one, collecting each passenger's old boarding pass and immediately handing over the replacement, which had already been prepared.
I was the only female passenger traveling to Abu Dhabi from our flight, yet I was the last Abu Dhabi passenger to be attended to. Instead of issuing my boarding pass, the staff member moved on to passengers traveling to the UK, whose flight boarded later than mine. I had to repeatedly follow up while my flight was about to board. Only after he finished assisting the UK passengers did he finally issue my replacement boarding pass.
I appreciate the professionalism and courtesy of the cabin crew throughout the delay. However, the lack of communication during the disruption and the disorganized handling of connecting passengers in Doha fell far below the standard I expect from Qatar Airways. My concern is not the technical delay itself, but how it was managed. I hope Qatar Airways improves communication during disruptions and ensures passengers with the most urgent connections are prioritized appropriately.

Canceled my flight without sending email, so when i was about to check in found out flight been canceled. Got confirm mail that refund is done but they forget 300€ so didnt get full price back...
I had an extremely disappointing…
I had an extremely disappointing experience flying with Qatar Airways while traveling with my twin babies. I expected a world-class airline to show compassion and professionalism, especially toward families with infants, but the cabin crew were incredibly rude, unhelpful, and seemed completely inexperienced in handling passengers with young children.
Instead of offering assistance, the crew made us feel like we were a burden. They lacked empathy, were dismissive whenever we asked for help, and showed no understanding of how challenging it is to travel with twin babies. Their attitude was cold and unprofessional throughout the flight.
This was one of the worst flying experiences I have ever had. I chose Qatar Airways because of its reputation, but the service I received was far below expectations. I will seriously reconsider flying with Qatar Airways again and cannot recommend it to families traveling with infants unless the airline improves its customer service and properly trains its cabin crew.
Be careful with there cancellations…
Be careful with there cancellations policies they do not refund any expenses you occurr whilst waiting to get on the next available flight. I had to wait a week I understand they don't compensate as not a UK company however should atleast cover expenses. Terrible experience and really hard to discuss anything with them has taken me 3 months to get a final response from them.
Worst experience at Qatar airways from…
Worst experience at Qatar airways from LRH to Doha . Very bad customer service . Flight delayed . Worst management never book a flight through qatar airways .
My wife suffered a miscarriage a month…
My wife suffered a miscarriage a month ago. I organized a surprise trip to support her and help lift her spirits. Unfortunately, during the trip, she became seriously ill, and we were unable to enjoy our vacation.
Today, I contacted customer support to request a change to our return flight from July 9 to July 12. I was told that I had to pay a penalty fee in addition to the fare difference.
I explained the circumstances to the customer service representative, but they showed no willingness to listen and no empathy for our situation. No goodwill gesture or any form of assistance was offered. It was a very disappointing experience, especially given the exceptional circumstances.
I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with Qatar Airways during my trip from Abu Dhabi to Doha on flight QR1045 on July 4, 2026.
I was carrying a small quantity of frozen fish for personal consumption, properly packed in a sealed insulated foam box. At check-in, I was told by a staff member that the item could not be accepted because "the police would stop it," and I was forced to dispose of it before being allowed to continue my journey.
What was most frustrating was that no clear explanation, written policy, or official regulation was provided. In addition, another checked bag in our travel party contained fish and was accepted without any issue, eventually entering Qatar successfully. This inconsistency raises serious concerns about how the rules are being applied.
The staff member's attitude was also unprofessional and discourteous. Instead of providing assistance or a proper explanation, the situation was handled in a dismissive manner that left a very negative impression.
As a result, I was forced to dispose of items worth approximately AED 800. I have submitted a formal complaint and am awaiting a response from Qatar Airways.
Very disappointing experience and far below the level of service I would expect from a world-class airline
Don’t fly on this airline you will regret it believe me
Terrible food toilets dirty seats like cardboard. Starlink they say is the next gen in air travel, what a load of rot drops out constantly. If Qatar was the only airline in world I would honestly take a boat even if it took a week. Never again

Trying to contact Qatar customer services to see if possible to change a flight as it seems I can't do it in the app. Called one advertised phone number that referred me to an English speaking number that just dropped out. Another advertised option says they have a whatsapp chat service...nope that's not working either, message saying please try again later. First time with Qatar but won't use again.
My belongings have been mishandled and…
My belongings have been mishandled and was refused to be returned… every time I explained the situation I was cut off interrupted and disrespected… my belongings have been reported to be stolen, reported to be is multiple locations and 1 bag is missing. When bags were claimed on time of the employees refused to have the bags claimed and claimed my belongings were is other locations…. The problem was never solved… I would never recommend this company. I was also charged for a ticket I never received and was not refunded from the company site…. This is a serious offense
Disgusting attitude regarding enforced cancellation.
Disgusting attitude. Like many others recently - cancelled flight, very un collaborative support agents on the chat & phone. I'm not asking them to move mountains, but the complete lack of willingness to at least try help fix the issue is baffling. Zero flexibility. I also had a hotel booking (via Qatar Airways Holidays) in Doha for the layover which we can no longer make use of, and they refuse to refund it. Again - I understand this was non-refundable, but under the circumstances you'd expect a little more common decency.
