Great gym to return to
I have been to this gym several times and I think it is one of my favourite. Staff is really helpful and the gym is sooo clean all the time. I also love the classes, my favourite is Billy's body pump.

Great with great staff
Great with great staff , there was a fire at the weekend and they reacted very quickly and made everyone feel very safe , would highly recommend this gym at anyone👌🏻.

Equipment let’s it down
The staff here are lovely and very friendly. The parking is also a plus! However, the gym itself is very tiny compared to other PureGyms. The equipment is also standard. From what I can see there is limited equipment available. For example no assisted pull up machines etc. it would be nice if there was “hidden areas” for those who are shy or trying to not get in the way of the machines. Currently the studio is used for this space and can get very crowded. Also, there are no benefits for this gym. Other puregyms offer energy water drinks or massage chairs as part of the membership fee.
I was upset to see I am paying more to be a member at saffron Walden compared to other puregyms and not receiving the same benefits or availability of equipment

We always aim to provide a broad spread of kit to cater to a range of fitness needs and meet demand as it changes through the day, getting the balance right between weights and cardio, but if you have any other/specific suggestions please approach the Gym Manager or leave a note in the feedback box, which is regularly reviewed.
The prices of the memberships vary for many reasons. This is not just based on the benefits each membership has.

Great gym
Great gym, friendly and helpful staff, plenty of clean decent equipment, always fresh and clean showers and toilets. Would recommend for any gym goer.

We do our very best to provide a wide range of classes, so that members have a variety of ways to workout and also do so, in a short amount of time, as we understand some members are crunched for time or just prefer shorter (but effective) workouts.
