Misleading joining promotions
Misleading joining promotions, patronising and unprofessional customer service, reported to advertising standards.
I have to give 1 star because I believe Pokerstars are intentionally misleading in their promotional advertisement, otherwise I wouldn't have even bothered to sign up.
This isn't about losing money, I haven't even lost my deposit, but I expected to be working towards an achievable bonus as outlined in the advert, but come to learn you only get a fraction (5%) of a dollar towards your goal.
They use "points" to disguise this, and do not make clear in the terms how you earn these points.
Be very wary when joining.
The app itself is okay, layout and pop up pages can get in the way and be difficult to close, but it's okay to play poker on.

Love playing
Love playing. Have lots of fun even if I loose. But for the last 2 months I have been seeing a pattern. Have an ok hand with high cards. Flop 2 pair. Turn an river I get done. It's been quite a bit of late.
Just not getting anything good.
A nice way to put people on tilt.
So my fun to relax play and watch good hands is very much over.
At this point I am looking at giving away what I enjoy.

Pokerstars, where do I begin. I'm trying to unblock my account but to no avail. It's like a tennis match going back and forth with messages trying to book a phone call. 3 days for three responses is not great! And I still haven't got anywhere with the phone call. I say a date and time for the phone call, the date passes then receive a message saying sorry the time passed, please tell us a new one?! Surely someone at Pokerstars can escalate this. Starting to give up on the customer service team. Sort it out. Update; Still no response to me sending a time and date. Looks like I'll take my business elsewhere.

FanDuel uses deceptive app mechanics and puts players through exhausting support runarounds.
They pushed a notification promising 20 bonus spins that bypassed any terms or opt-in screen, dumping me straight into Monopoly Money Line with the wager preset to $2.00 per spin. Clicking twice instantly ate my entire $4.00 balance because the free spins were never actually active.
Getting that money back took over an hour of fighting with dismissive support agents who repeatedly gave false explanations before finally issuing a $4.00 courtesy credit. That credit turned out to be heavily restricted and could not even be used for a simple PokerStars Spin & Go buy-in. Trying to clear the playthrough requirement on blackjack wiped out the entire balance in just a few hands.
Between misleading deep-linked promotions, stubborn support hurdles, and restricted credits, the entire system feels designed to trap your balance.
