They seem to have a screen scam going. Probably inline with all phones for cash companies! Every used phone must have some screen burn. Undetectable without really close examination. Mine was certain... See more

After stating I was not happy with first quote they conter offered to A better amount which was put in my bank same day. Hope they take on board the negative comments and work towards the service. I'm happy with the final outcome ☺️

What a joke

What a joke. Gave a quote of £197 for iphone 11 so sent it off to them in the original box. When they received the phone gave a revised quote of £75 as they said the phone was damaged and had a dead pixel. Was a load of rubbish the phone always had a screen protector and case on it. There is no dead pixel. I promptly asked for the return of the phone. I received it back and to my surprise only sent phone back no sign of the box. So sent an email asking for box return and got a cocky email stating they don't return the boxes and it doesn't effect resale price this was in their terms and conditions, I'm sorry but a phone with a box is worth more. They have effectly stolen the box from me and the phone is now worth less. Please don't use this company. You have been warned.

SCAMMERS!

I sent my phone to these scammers, (the phone was in immaculate condition without any signs of wear and tear, it was like brand new out of the box). Once they received the phone they then sent me picture of what was quite clearly a different device to the one that I had sent them with scratches on it, they then tried to knock the original price down by £100, I have refused and I have reported them to the police and trading standards who have told me that they are currently investigating dozens and dozens of complaints about these scammers, please don't make the same mistake as I did, the positive reviews on here are all fake ones. I hope this review can stop someone else from being ripped off.

Watch out!

The phone was just sent to me refurbished, no marks from my insurance provider. I sent this immediately to the company in safe packaging. When it arrived they said it had scratches and dents to the device - which it didnt when i sent. I sent them proof that it was fine and they increased the price but i still lost £100 for nothing.

It also took them a week to pay me, after saying it had been paid.

Awaiting Payment

Sent my IPhone XR to Phones 2 Pounds and they offered me £100.00 which I accepted but it has been a month now and not received any money. Tried to phone and it's an automated message about Covid and how there is no one to take my call and advising you to email but my email's keep bouncing back. Filled in the form on their website for getting in contact also to be taken to a white screen and nothing else. Do not use this company!

AVOID

AVOID! They've received my iPhone 12, sent me photos of a different phone stating its mine and in poor condition and offered me £100 less! When I contested this they revised the offer to £250 which I accepted. They have never paid me and every time I contact them to ask where my money is I get told there is technical difficulties! Their phone lines are inactive claiming staff are social distancing which is nonsense! I've reported to trading standards and opened a case through resolver, the next step is to drive to their offices. Robbing thieves! AVOID!

Half the offer. Much more elsewhere!!!

Phones2pounds have once again offered half the value of the original on a phone. Its a waste of time trying this route. They offer the highest by a few pounds and then shaft you with half the money once they have the phone. Save your time, use Gumtree or EBay.
Does anyone ever get the full payment?

So so dodgy. Avoid!

Sent my daughters phone as faulty so couldn’t remove iCloud. They sent us instructions on how to do it remotely which we did and they said it was still locked and asked for my daughters username and password to sort it! On top of that my mum had sent her phone to them. The phone had always been in a case and screen protector but they sent a counter offer saying the phone was badly damaged and sent photos of what must have been a different phone as her phone was spotless and worked as it should. We are awaiting the return of the phones. Also companies house state that the company is called PTOP now and not phones to pounds, even though they trade under that name.

DONT USE THIS COMPANY After finding them on a comparison…

After finding them on a comparison website , they offered £411 for my immaculate Iphone12 pro . I decided to use them , they send a jiffy pack to post the phone immediately, I securely packed the phone so no damage could be done in transit .
I received an email 3 days later saying the phone was in “poor” condition , and devalued the phone to £320 . The sent images of a phone that clearly wasn’t mine !! After reading the horrific reviews I decided to accept the low offer for fear of never seeing payment or my phone again . They delayed the payment as long as they could but did eventually receive my payment . I’m guessing my A1 condition handset is already in another person’s possession, I worked out that why they delayed my payment. AVOID , .. read the reviews .. the 5 star ones are laughable , generic , fake reviews .. ( notice the names on the reviews, all “white/English “ ???
