From start to finish the service has been excellent. We are really happy about how proactive snags have been fixed and the team are encouraging us to keep in touch with customer care to bring up anything else we are not 100% happy with. Karen Yule in the sales suite has been brilliant, keeping in touch and helping build excitement before we moved in.

We cannot thank Caleb, Ayesha & Winnie enough. They were all amazing from the sales & customer service front and made each and every step that little bit easier.

Just moved into Highfield gardens in Trowbridge. The sales staff, Alice and Vicky were excellent. Couldn’t do enough to help. Highly recommend Persimmon South West!

Lili Fletcher was great throughout our whole house buying experience. As first time buyers it can be daunting at times but she made the whole process as easy and straightforward as possible and my partner and I both love our new home!

Avoid Persimmon Homes if you value quality, customer service and accountability.
My experience over the last 18 months has been nothing short of unacceptable. Purchasing a brand-new home should be an exciting milestone, but it has instead become a continuous battle to have defects rectified and promises honoured.
The most significant issue has been my rear garden. I have experienced repeated cancellations, missed appointments, broken commitments and endless delays. I have been repeatedly assured that work would be completed, only to be left waiting with no contractor arriving and no meaningful communication.
The problems extend far beyond the garden. Every room in my home requires some level of redecoration due to remedial works, and I have had to report numerous defects that should never have been present in a new-build property. I have even had to raise concerns regarding electrical workmanship because of potential safety issues.
What has been most frustrating is the complete lack of ownership. Rather than proactively resolving problems, I have spent 18 months chasing updates, sending countless emails, making formal complaints, requesting meetings and even submitting a Subject Access Request to establish exactly what has been happening behind the scenes. I am now considering escalating my complaint to the NHBC and other industry bodies because I have lost confidence in Persimmon Homes’ ability to resolve matters appropriately.
The aftercare I have received has fallen well below what any homeowner should reasonably expect. Deadlines have repeatedly been missed, communication has been poor, and I have been left feeling that the burden of managing these defects has been placed entirely on me.
A new-build home should not require this level of persistence from the customer. I cannot recommend Persimmon Homes based on my experience, and I would strongly encourage anyone considering buying from them to thoroughly research their aftercare service before making such a significant financial commitment.
I sincerely hope no other customer has to endure the experience that my family has over the past 18 months.

We love it!!
I’m so happy with our Persimmon home—we fall in love with it more every day. The design is beautiful, the garden is spacious, there’s plenty of storage, and having several parking spaces is a huge bonus. The customer service has been excellent throughout the whole process. The team has been friendly, professional, and always willing to help. What more could you ask for? We couldn’t be happier with our new home and would highly recommend Persimmon Homes.

Nick and Max, customer care Southwest attended to fix water egress damage to patio and back door, replaced skirting boards, and repaired outside damage. Fully explained what repairs have been carried out. Workmanship is a very high standard. They even took the time to readjust the front door as noticed that it was not closing correctly. Very pleased.

Just visited Willow field Development in Sauchie and spoke to Mary. What an invaluable experience. Mary is extremely knowledgeable and a really lovely person. Mary tried very hard to get us a deal that suited both us and Persimmon. Not purchased on this site yet but will definitely keep in touch with Mary as I believe our future home will be on this site. We won't buy with any other consultant.

Me and my partner enquired about a lovely 3 bed semi detached in the East Midlands. As first time buyers , we had no idea where to start when buying a house. The process was incredibly challenging but our sales advisor Emma is lovely and very welcoming. She’s explained everything we needed to know and updates us regularly in the build process. We are due to complete in the summer and we are super excited. A big thank you for your help :)

Joanne (sales) was very honest and open with us from the get go, which made our decision to go ahead a whole lot easier. She had and still has our best interests at heart at all times, and everything was explained to us in great detail making it all so much easier to absorb and understand. Could not fault her at all!

I have just completed on my first home at The Maples in Weston and I cannot thank the team enough. From the first showing Jamie - Lee was fantastic giving my a great tour of the property. From there, Helen was amazing, supporting me through the whole buying process and always being on hand if I had any questions. She would always provide updates and helped to make the process as smooth as possible. The site manager Mark has also been great, giving me a really good home demo and working tirelessly to get the certificates and everything else sorted for me to move in. I cannot thank the whole team enough!
