Staff very helpful and polite.

Bought from Persimmon previously and same reason applies for high score - always someone to deal with pre and post purchase.

I don’t understand why Persimmon pushed to complete before the place was ready to be lived in. The communal stairs and hallway did not have carpet. This was being laid on the day our new sofa and bed were delivered. We ended up with muck being trodden in.
The wrong radiators had been fitted in the bathrooms.They are now being replaced so more muck on our carpets. I would have preferred to wait until this had all been finished. I told my solicitor this, but she had been told it would all be done.

Overall a decent / average home builders. A few cracks in their system which i think needs to be ironed out. Communication for the most part is weak, Finishing touches being done on pen and paper in 2026 feels barbaric amongst this a lot of other thing which i will not go into detail on.

Very happy with their service. We used our own solicitors they were not helpful at all and Persimmon did their best to help us to make sure that we will receive our keys on time, they were chasing them. Very grateful for everything they have done for us. The house is amazing and everything we have reported they sort it for us straight away.

The staff have been great especially Dawn. So helpful. The house is lovely, really pleased. Unfortunately we have been disappointed with such a small point in the great scheme of things. Every skirting board has been cut when fitting the carpets. The touching up of the paintwork is disappointing. Waiting for customer services to get in touch. It is very early days as yet. Been impressed with so much about buying a Persimmon property.

From start to finish, the whole process has been made unbelievably easy to purchase our new home, assisted by great customer service from the whole team at Mill Gardens.

We would like to give a special mention to Coleen. What a superstar, such enthusiasm for every aspect of the purchase and gave us way beyond the usual levels of customer service.

Amanda, the sales rep for Persimmons is a lovely, helpful, knowledgeable, professional woman. I could not have asked for a better introduction to the company. She is a credit to you.
Andy, the site manager, is also excellent, professional, helpful and very knowledgeable.

It would have been very helpful if it had been made clear what was included in the build as Finishing Touches booklet starts with an upgrade so we wrongly assumed they were all upgrades. On our viewings only the washing machine was mentioned as not being included, I said I didn’t need a dishwasher but did need the plumbing for one, but was not told that wasn’t included anyway and therefore assumed a fridge freezer was included. Request for pan drawers in place of cupboard was noted, charged for but not installed.
Now care has moved to site Craig has been very helpful.

Despite written promises from Persimmon’s legal team I arrived with my movers to find out the house was not signed off by the NHBC or ready for move in. I was fined by my mover for this. Their legal team will promise anything to make you complete and do not care that the property is unfinished.

I was put into an airBnB and all my belongings were abandoned in the garage. Persimmon promised me labourers would move me into the house. These did not arrive in time so I had to move everything fully alone including breaking down my own furniture to get it into the house. Help came for the white goods.

No lights work downstairs. No water upstairs. The water issue impacts the entire phase of the site. The View Phase 5. I am 6 days post completion and these issues are not resolved. Customer care are defensive if you question any issues, making excuses or being confrontational instead of apologising. I am pursuing legal action.

Throughout the process to date, Charley and Olivia have been very informative, supportive and helped me through the journey thus far

We had marks on one of our patio doors. Which we could not remove with a number of cleaning products.
We were expecting a visit from Dave the plastic surgeon to look at the problem on Tuesday. As he was in the area he called on the Monday to see if he could look at the issue.
After trying a number of products, he was able to remove the marks. You would not know they had been there now.
A lovely gentleman, he explained every step he was doing. With a great result.
