Don’t be tricked by the positive reviews - this company is a scam! I ordered sunglasses and they were in stock, then they told me they don’t have availability and must wait 2 weeks. They refused to refund - I had to open a PayPal case to get action. This is a SCAM company - please be aware - they sell items that they don’t have in stock…. They only acted once I raised the PayPal case.

as you can read in our shipping page, "if the items are not available, we will send you an email within 1 working day with the estimated waiting time. Waiting time is approximate and it depends on the availability of our suppliers".
On our website only the "fast shipping" labeled glasses are in stock.
We order all out of stock items to the official suppliers, that's why then we provided you with a new estimated shipping date.
In your case, after you placed the order we informed you that the waiting time for your glasses was 7/8 working days.
When you asked us to refund you, we did it immediately, please check our email. It was no need to open a claim with Pay Pal.
We are not a "scam" and we are a serious company that sells glasses on-line since more than 20 years.
We remain at your disposal.

Otticanet made this Valentine's Day purchase quick and very easy. I knew the model of the sunglasses I wanted to get my wife. They were $550CAD at Sunglass Hut in Canada and $357CAD at Otticanet, plus a 15% off promo code. Ordered to get them by the 14th, they were here all the way from Italy in 4 business days. No customs fees, duty fees or GST. They took care of all that!
All the correct etchings, logos, measurements, and a finely engraved serial number on the right temple.
A+ service and would definitely buy again! Thanks for saving me $200!

Absolutely horrendous! STAY AWAY! I ordered a pair of Prada glasses that were damaged when I received them. I emailed straight away showing the frame is bent and questioned the authenticity of the glasses. I’m from syd and they suggested I go to a local store to fix and reassured me they’re real. We don’t have their local store here! Anyway the refuse to refund it and deny its manufacturing defect and they said this happens all the time from “temperature”. They offered an exchange if I pay for the shipping and delivery fees! They refuse to just take it back and refund me. I went and got them checked by an authentication professional and he CONFIRMED that they’re not real Prada.

When one arm is slightly higher than the other one, the first step is to go to a local store. In fact, any local optician will be able to regulate the glasses on your face directly.
In case you can't do it, we will send you the return instructions and we will fix your glasses or replace them.

They send the sunglasses I ordered the glasses were broken in half and the box was squashed. They refuse to send a new pair or give a refun. Terrible customer service, and shady website. It seems they put good prices and send damaged goods, very shady scammers. Do not order from them spend a little more and get it from the original store.

We are sorry to read your review. Since more than 20 years, we ship glasses worldwide, we do not scam people.
We could not have shipped broken in a half sunglasses since all our glasses are subject to a double quality control (and the first one is made by the official manufacturer).
We use cardboard box, bubble bag, courier's bag.
This is the appropriate packaging to ship all our eyeglasses and sunglasses.
Checking your picture it seems that the package has been exposed to a very heavy weight that squashed and bent the case and the glasses. Usually our goods are not exposed to such weight.
So, probably something happened during the shipment or during transport.
Unfortunately without the packaging and box we are not able to make controls and we cannot open a case with the courier.
Why didn't you keep everything if the received glasses were in such way?

Unethical company, poor customer service, Avoid!
I would give minus 5 stars if it were possible.
I purchased Cartier glass frames CT02830 (order number OT-7628578 ) from this company in 2022.Note This product is still within warranty. Recently, the Panther head and screws on one of the handles came loose. These are glass frames that didn’t come cheap at over £560. I was disappointed at this and contacted Otticanet regarding a repair or replacement of the frames. I sent pictures as requested of the fault and also the bits and screw that had come loose. Rather than do the right,legal and expected thing i.e. repair the glasses or replace, I was told I should send over some money for postage of an additional screw for me to fix the frames myself?!
This is a company that clearly has no understanding of how warranty claims work nor any regard for the legality of their actions.
I will not recommend purchasing from this company and would say avoid this company at all costs.

we are sorry that our service didn't meet your expectations.
We confirm that all our products have 2 years warranty for manufacturing defects. Warranty doesn't cover accidental damages due to the use of the glasses.
In your case, the screws became loose after you used the glasses for one year and a half and this is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Of course we assisted you and we provided two options:
1. we send you some new screws for free and you have your glasses fixed locally by an optician. In this case we asked you to pay for the shipping costs only (9 gbp).
2. you return your glasses and our optician will fix them for you. In this case return costs (10 gbp) and new shipping costs are on your charge (9 gbp).
We are sorry that you are not happy with any of our proposals and we remain at your disposal.
