Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Have tried for more than a week to get a more preferred price plans for July 26 onwards. The staff never answered my questions. After I tried to reply to their messages 3-4 times, I gave up. Looking up their price plans myself will definitely better. Never contact the customer service. It is completely wast of time

Super easy!
I decided to call early this morning and was relieved to hear the voice of the customer service representative Aidan. Aidan was super helpful and found the right plan for me to change to. He also helped me with my Internet account and offered me a very good bundle plan. He made this whole process very easy for me which I appreciate appreciated as I was about to start work and didn’t have a lot of time. Thank you, Aidan. You made this super easy for me.

I'm writing to share my absolute frustration with the sudden, unjustified price hikes from Origin Energy. As a resident in Mascot NSW 2020, I have watched my daily supply charge surge from roughly $1 to $1.66 per day in just a single year.A 66-cent jump is a massive percentage increase and is simply not justifiable for a fixed daily charge. To make matters worse, I reached out to their customer service team to seek an explanation or find a better rate, and they were incredibly unhelpful and completely dismissed my concerns.This type of price gouging, combined with poor support for loyal customers, is completely unacceptable. I strongly urge anyone in the area to look elsewhere and compare their options on the Energy Made Easy site so they don't get trapped with these same unreasonable fees.

Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible. Company was informed a fraudster used my information to set up an account. Could not close the account myself. Asked them to close the account and they started demanding date of birth from me then started to bill me. Horrible, horrible company. Stay away.

Recent Origin Go Variable plan pricing changes offensive (effective July 1 2026). Supply charge almost doubling with a minor decrease to the electricity price charges to soften the blow. I'm out and switched suppliers immediately.

I’ve been an Origin Energy customer for many years - partly because I don’t want a Smart Meter. I also use Origin Broadband (was Aussie now Superloop). My loyalty was acknowledged & rewarded. ‘Dave’ retained my custom for his employer - well done!
