money deducted and no tickets
I have had money deducted and have been provided with no airfares.
Have contacted your call centre and been told to wait - you took my money several hours ago!!!
6 hours and I still have no tickets.
I have emailed but note it takes up to 24 hours to have any kind of response - I'm not holding my breath I will get any kind of response.
This is a scam.
If you want to actually get flights and go on holiday - hold on to your money and don't use this service.

Very poor after sales service
We arrived at the airport this morning to find that the flight we were booked on wasn't on the flight board. Eventually we discovered that the company had cancelled the flight one month earlier and we had not been informed. We spoke to representative of Orient Vacations who said that some one would ring us when the Australian office opened. We never received a call. The airline rescheduled our flight for us which affected our connections in Europe. The rescheduling cost us NZ$2000+ I again rang Orient Vacations who apologized but offered no explanation or compensation. The airport staff said it was the responsibility of Orient Vacations to update passengers. I will never book with them again.

Our team made every effort to accommodate you with the best available alternative; however, due to limited flight availability at the time, we were unable to secure a more suitable option. We understand this was not the outcome you had hoped for, and we are genuinely sorry for the inconvenience caused.
With regard to the additional costs you incurred, we recommend submitting a compensation or reimbursement request directly through the airline's official claims process. As the disruption resulted from the airline's schedule change, compensation requests must generally be submitted by the passenger, allowing the airline to review the claim and respond directly.
Once again, we sincerely apologize and appreciate your patience and understanding.

I attempted to book a flight through…
I attempted to book a flight through Orient Vacations because they advertised the lowest fare on Skyscanner.
Unfortunately, the booking never completed. Shortly afterwards, I received a phone call from one of their agents telling me that the advertised fare was no longer available.
I was then offered a significantly more expensive fare. During the call I was told they needed to "speak with the airline", that they were trying to obtain a special exception for me, and that they were offering me a special deal. The overall impression was that I was being encouraged to accept a higher price quickly.
What I found particularly frustrating was being told that the fare they advertise is not actually available. If that's the case, I don't understand why it is advertised in the first place.
I'm not saying this is a scam. However, in my experience it felt like a sales tactic designed to upsell customers after attracting them with a lower advertised fare. I also felt unnecessary urgency to make a decision during the call.
I decided not to proceed, booked the exact same itinerary through another OTA instead, and completed the purchase within two minutes without any phone calls or issues—and at a considerably lower price than the one I was offered over the phone.
Based on my experience, I would not even contact this company again.

We understand your concerns regarding the fare you were initially shown but based on the live inventory accessible to us at that time we couldn’t confirm the booking. We are committed to maintaining transparency with our customers and only offer fares that are genuinely available for booking through our system.

Good experience
The flight wasn’t available online but Victor called with options. I didn’t like the first options but he said he’d call me back and he did after a couple of hours he’d managed to get similar flights within my budget. I felt a bit uneasy about it being over the phone but the confirmation was sent quite quickly. The tickets were all as expected. Happy with the service and Victor. He had good customer service .
