Very enjoyable cruise on the MSC Virtuosa. Good itinerary visiting Iceland and Norway. Good food and excellent shows. The ship is immaculately clean. On the negative side there is a lack of bars and... See more

1.Food standard and choice of food is not great.
2. Found hair in my wife omelette...very unhygienic and when showed it to omelette section, she was nice to offer a replacement but once you are off food you do not want it again.
3. Food shortages....seems the first 50people get it and than no more??
4. Seeing food shortages and less choice of food, value for money is not there.
5.guest relation staff must be overworked as some staff do not look happy to serve and seem unfriendly

Poor embarkation procedure for disabled guests. Given wrong details multiple times. Charge placed on credit card resulting in not being able to access my accounts for spending ashore. Took a week to resolve

The Absolute Worst Experience of Our Lives – Zero Protection Against Sexual Harassment
Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5)
I am writing this review to warn anyone considering a cruise with MSC Cruises, specifically on the MSC Splendida. Our recent trip was, without a doubt, the worst and most traumatizing experience of our lives.
The Incident
While inside the ship’s casino—an area heavily monitored by security cameras—a male passenger who was at least 40 years older than my partner reached out and inappropriately touched and stroked her thigh. We were shocked, violated, and immediately reported the incident to ship security.
The Disgraceful Response from Security
You would expect a major cruise line to take immediate action. Instead, the security team reviewed the CCTV footage, explicitly confirmed and witnessed that the harassment took place, and then told us there was nothing they could do because the perpetrator "apologized" and because it was "only his first offense." MSC Cruises claims to have a "zero-tolerance policy" for violence. However, based on our horrific experience, it seems that unless it escalates to a physical assault, sexual harassment and unwanted touching do not qualify as violations under their policy—even when caught clear as day on their own cameras, and apparently, predators get a "free pass" for their first time.
Protecting the Perpetrator Instead of the Victim
It got worse. When I later ran into the harasser and loudly demanded that he be removed from our vicinity, the ship’s security did not remove him. Instead, they deployed three security guards to protect the harasser. To add insult to injury, a crew member told me: "If you don’t want to be in the same space as him, you are free to leave." They actively protected a predator while treating the victims as the problem.
Conclusion: Corporate Greed Over Human Values
The only thing this company cares about is money; they possess absolutely zero moral values or care for passenger safety.
We actually had a free future cruise voucher from the company (earned unrelated to this incident), and we immediately cancelled it. We will never sail with MSC Cruises again for the rest of our lives, and we strongly advise everyone else to avoid them at all costs.
Note: Every single word written in this review is 100% verified, documented, and backed by the ship's own security footage. Prioritize your safety and book with a cruise line that actually protects its guests.

Overall we had a brilliant and very enjoyable experience, just if an area is adult only, make sure it is adult only. Think it would be helpful to have signs about queuing, as some guest seemed to like pushing in and not waiting their turn. Overall we loved our 1st cruise, thank you.

MSC Yacht club was possibly one of the best cruising experiences I've had the pleasure to go on.
The staff were genuine and friendly without being overbearing. The personalised service was second to none.
The food and restaurants were excellent quality, clean and very well managed.

The MSc Grandiosa was a lovely ship but as a disabled person the grab rails in the toilets needs to be on both sides for women to stand up from toilets the one behind is of no use. Otherwise shows entertainment & everything was very nicely organised

Mediocre. Very big ship, too many passangers. Quantity dilutes the quality.

The ship is outstanding, the staff are fantastic.throughout the entire ship .it runs like clockwork.
Absolutely disappointed with the hygiene levels that are allowed at all the buffet stations.
So if your hygiene and cleanliness is important to you , stay clear of the buffet ( bull ring ) .
Senior staff should implement some standards .
Wet towels and sweaty swimwear should not be acceptable standards at any food restaurant.
But at evening dinner buffet I find it disgusting.
I hope msc respond with an excuse !as we didn’t get acknowledgment on board

MSC Grandiosa is a stunning ship, great staff, exceptional food choices. Nice bars and barstaff. Spa treatments were brilliant.
We all really enjoyed our cruise and can't wait to go again.
Our fourth time with MSC and have no hesitation in booking with them again.

The cruise overall was excellent, the staff were great. However, we had a significant issue at Juneau which majorly detracted from the entire experience and left us c.£100 out of pocket and having no opportunity to actually see Juneau.
All information pre and initially during the cruise stated 1400 arrival at Juneau, departure 2200 with no mention of a tender service. However, upon arrival to the port it was stated to be a tender service (notified the evening prior). We had a tour booked for 1515, a whale watching and glacier tour, this was booked to allow "buffer" of arrival, allow time to see Juneau and finishing at 1815 it would have allowed time to see Juneau upon return from the tour. However, due to the tender service this was not possible and we missed our tour. We were initially booked for a 1540 tender and it took significant and repeated complaint to be brought forward to the first 1500 tender, which we were reassured would get us in on time with liaison with the tour provider who agreed to wait until 1530. Due to the incredibly significant delays of the tender service, we still did not arrive into Juneau until 1605 and this was with the first tender group, the majority of guests did not get off until c.1700. This meant we completely missed our trip. As a result of the good nature of the tour provider, we were transferred to a later booking, however due to having to be back for the last tender at 2000, we were not able to participate in the glacier tour element. This means we were effectively c.£100 out of pocket of the price difference between the two tours (+ glacier tour or not). In addition to this, due to the time lost with tendering, we had no time in Juneau itself atall, which should have been the highlight destination.
This service in itself is unacceptable but of greater issue is the complete lack of messaging which lead to this problem. I struggle to believe that MSC were not aware it was a tender service and that timings would not be as advertised 1400 to 2200. This is completely disingenuous false advertising. On getting the tender at 1500 we were in the first group to disembark. The majority were not off until 1700 and later and had to return 2000 for the last tender. It appears that MSC are falsely advertising Juneau as 14-2200, knowing that if it were honest about the realistic timings due to a tender requirement of only c.1700 to 2000 that customers would not elect for this cruise given that Juneau is supposed to be the pinnacle destination.
Overall this single but major issue significantly detracted from the cruise and left us £100 out of pocket.
