The World Europa Ship was beautiful
The World Europa Ship was beautiful, and a very fun experience. The staff we encountered were all very friendly ad helpful. Overall very good value for money in my opinion.

Very enjoyable cruise on the MSC Virtuosa
Very enjoyable cruise on the MSC Virtuosa. Good itinerary visiting Iceland and Norway. Good food and excellent shows. The ship is immaculately clean.
On the negative side there is a lack of bars and seating for the size of ship which results in having difficulty in finding seats for you to spend the evening.

First time on this ship - excellent
We had 7 nights on MSC virtuosa sailing from Southampton to La Rochelle, Bilbao , La Coruna, Cherbourg. Our experience was wonderful. Although the ship was full and massive , embarkment and disembarking was very well organised and efficient. The staff worked very hard and kept the ship spotless . Food was very good and a large variety catering for all. We paid extra for the balcony and drinks package and felt it to be good value for money . Evening entertainment in the theatre was professional and we thoroughly enjoyed all the shows . The only issue we found was the excursions were ridiculously expensive so we opted to take the free shuttle bus to the drop off point and make our own arrangements. I have seen some negative reviews on this site but we found staff , service and food very good. Abdul was our room attendant and he was always very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him . He was always smiling . Overall I recommend MSC virtuosa and will definitely sail with them again

Staff amazing but overcrowded
My first cruise and although the staff were amazing it was too crowded for my liking. Also I have celiac disease and although the food was nice there wasn’t a massive amount of choice and if you have a sweet tooth then you are out of luck

Sadly not for us
Very noisy ship, far too many people. The pool area was dreadful, rowdy loud music most of the time. Sunbeds very close together and poor quality. Impossible to swim as the small pools were very crowded. People were smoking with small kids running around. No easy accessible toilets near the pool, only ones were in the lift area. I'm guessing there's a lot of urine in those pools! Only stayed about 30 mins that was all we could stand. We went to the Solarium once hoping it would be better. However, there was no escape from the burning sun, no parasols only strange pods that were extremely uncomfortable to lie in. Hardly any of those either. No swimming pool only a jacuzzi and no toilets! Had to go down to the lift area, previously mentioned, for a wee. We thought soft drinks were included but no, only water. Stayed there an hour before we gave up.
The suite we were in, right at the bow of the ship, had a sealed window so no balcony. We felt a bit claustrofobic. We also had to walk the length if the ship to get anywhere, good exercise I suppose. The suite was very clean and kept that way throughout our cruise. The buffet restaurant was a nightmare! So many people jostling for tables and food. Tried breakfast in Red Velvet restaurant, our designated eatery, but the service was very slow. However, in the evening it's was much improved. Food was good .

First time with MSC
First time with MSC. Some of the reviews aren't good so a little bit apprehensive. There was no need to be. Great ship, great staff, great itinerary and a lift system that all of the other cruise lines (that we've been on) could learn from. Had an amazing trip and would definitely use MSC again (and have already booked for next year!).
