I flew from Los Angeles to Paris to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and before we met up, I was wandering through Le Marais when I unexpectedly came across the Miista store. I couldn’t believe it! I’ve been following Miista for a long time and had been thinking about ordering a pair online, but since there isn’t a store in Los Angeles, I was always unsure about sizing.
As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with such warmth and professionalism. Amber, who was working that day, was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the different styles, fits, and what would work best for me. Unfortunately, I had to catch a train to Bordeaux, so I couldn’t make a decision that day. But I already knew I wanted to come back with my mom because I wanted to show her this beautiful, unique store.
When we returned a few days later, Amber was there again, which made the experience even better. I’m so glad I asked all my questions and tried on several pairs during my first visit because by Saturday afternoon the store was packed, and some of the boots I liked had already sold out!
My mom decided to surprise me with an early birthday gift and bought me the pair of boots I had fallen in love with. I even had to wear them on the flight back to Los Angeles because my suitcase was completely full! Thankfully, they were incredibly comfortable, even for traveling.
Thank you, Amber, and thank you, Miista, for making this such a memorable shopping experience. It became one of my favorite memories from my trip to Paris, and I can’t wait for the weather to cool down so I can wear my beautiful boots again.

I absolutely love this style and have only worn them once. The only concern I have is that, because of the long pointed toe, the leather creases quite a bit when I walk. I’m worried it might eventually crack where the crease forms. I really hope it doesn’t, because apart from that, I absolutely love them.

Worth every penny
I believe this is my third pair of shoes from Miista. The quality remains unmatched, and as true craftspeople, they offer an excellent repair service for their customers, even including extra heel bases for local cobblers.
That said, the sizing can be completely all over the place. However, because they provide upfront, exact measurements for each individual shoe on their website, you can avoid issues if you take extra care and measure before purchasing. On the occasions where I have needed an exchange due to the fit, the customer service has been some of the best I have ever experienced. These are not ordinary shoes; the exceptional design, material quality, and craftsmanship are precisely why I remain a returning customer.
