This company is really BAD
This company ( internet store) sucks! BIG Big time. If I want to explain the way they treated us, it would require 10 pages.

Terrible. Stay away.
We called them to talk about ordering a laptop and gave them our credit card info to order. They soon told us that they saw a better, newer product in their inventory that we might like instead. We said that we would think about it and research it, but they were not to place any orders until we got back to them. They agreed and we hung up the phone. We had their number to call them back. In the meantime, we started to consider other options. We did some comparison shopping and discovered they were overpriced and this was not a cheap item or a quick decision to make -- it was a new laptop. During this time while we were deciding, they started ringing our phone off the hook. They must have been getting nervous hoping that they weren't losing a big sale. It was really annoying. Finally, we decided to go with another company that we were more familiar with. But before we got back to them, without our consent, MacMall representatives claimed that we placed an order. They just picked one of the two laptops for us and they placed the order with our card. The price was almost $2000.
We talked to them again to say that we had definitely not decided to order and that they did not have our permission to place the order. They disagreed and said that the laptop was on its way. We said that we wanted to return it. They said no, they did not want to take a return. So, we took the dispute to their payment processor, PayPal. We spent some time going through a resolution process and PayPal was very helpful and orderly with a list of questions, answers and instructions. We received the laptop in the mail -- the computer that we did NOT order -- and we took instructions from PayPal to return it to MacMall's business address that they had on file -- against MacMall's wishes. MacMall gave us the run around refusing to confirm whether or not they received the return, but PayPal determined that they had indeed received the laptop back according to the tracking information. PayPal then forced a refund on MacMall's account and finally, we got our money back.
After they realized that we were taking the dispute directly to PayPal, a customer service representative on the phone said that they still "already had our credit card number." We cancelled the credit card because their comments sounded creepy, especially in light of what they had already done.
I definitely do not recommend this company. In my opinion, it's walking into a hornet's nest. Their website was not organized as well as some others, their prices were not as good, their customer service representatives did not really understand what they were selling, they were rude, annoying, unprofessional and they used our credit card without permission. If you read this and have already run into trouble like this with them, please don't hesitate to file a dispute with their payment processor. And write a review. People should be protected from predatory business. We decided to go with another company instead - their prices have always been one of the lowest with no problems, no disputes.
In public, MacMall does these cut and paste standard polite responses to bad reviews. (Gaslighting) But in private, you guessed it. Different story. They're about the money.

What BS!
I am overseas and trying to purchase a hard drive to send to a U.S. address, but I can't do it because of my IP, probably, even with VPN activated, so I have to call an 800 number. Really? With the time difference, etc. it took me 3 days to find the time to do it, then I had to repeat EVERYTHING over the phone, then write down the order number with a pen and paper. What century is this? Get with it, Macmall!
The Mac configuration I ordered from…
The Mac configuration I ordered from the MacMall website was discontinued. It took almost a week to inform me of that. To get a similar product the Mac had to be ordered directly from Apple and then shipped to me. That took another week and a half. A product I should have had in a few days took almost three weeks. MacMall needs to be on top of inventory and keep the website up to date. All I got was a $20 credit for the inconvenience. That disappeared quickly because the new Mac cost more than the one advertised that was discontinued. The customer service rep didn't seem too apologetic about it. I eventually got the Mac and I am happy to move forward.
The ultimate online definition of price, quality and service
I use Macmall whenever I need accessories to my Apple products that do not need a direct Apple acquisition. I bought some RAM to upgrade my iMac this time and Macmall delivered – price wise, quality and on-time shipping. Another excellent online purchasing experience.

Beware of the return policy
Beware of the return policy. Major pain in the rear and lots of flack from customer service in my case. Published return policy seems to be missing some important details.
I’m my case they charged a restocking fee on a router because the package was opened. Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere else.

The moment our product was ordered we were besieged with two and three emails daily. The product was slow in coming which meant we had to deal with emails and calls. It felt as though we were being attacked. You couldn't pay me to go through this annoyance again.
