Our washing machine was skilfully repaired by Scott. He explained the process ( a new part was required), which was extremely professional with excellent communication along the way. I would certainly recommend Lothian Domestics and happily use them again

Ross was so friendly, polite , professional, no questions I asked were a bother for him, really knowledgable and informative . Fixed the issue too and was able to explain clearly what the issue was, how to fix it and once fixed showed it was working ! Really efficient ! Hopefully not but if ever have an issue with machine again hope he is the engineer who arrives!

Steven attended on time , performed troubleshooting efficiently, diagnosed the faulty part, replaced it in the same visit and the cost was very reasonable, so far so good in terms of the fix. Steven was also polite and conscientious, seems like a nice chap.

Ross was great—arrived right on time, was friendly, explained everything clearly, and was honest about what could be fixed and what couldn’t (it’s an old fridge)! Would highly recommend!

Lothian Domestics were extremely prompt in organising a visit to repair my tumble drier. The company kept me fully up to date about his arrival. Steven, the engineer, was excellent (friendly, polite and knowledgeable) He was extremely thorough in both fixing the initial problem and a subsequent problem he detected when checking the machine. To be able to fix it there and then without having to wait anymore time for a part is superb customer service. I have no hesitation in recommending Lothian Domestics and would use them again anytime.

At very short notice and just before Christmas, they diagnosed the issue with my oven, sourced the parts, and had it fixed in time. What could have been a complete Christmas disaster was handled quickly, calmly, and professionally. They genuinely saved Christmas.

The engineers were excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly very experienced. Just as impressive were the office team. The girls on the phones were brilliant. Communication throughout was clear, prompt, and reassuring.

Arrived on time and diagnosed problem quickly. Paul was polite, efficient, knowledgeable and tidy. A real lifesaver as the oven broke down on 23rd December, so Christmas dinner is on again.

Steven from Lothian Domestics was excellent today. Very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient with the work. Tidied up after himself and made sure everything was working before he left. It was a big job to change the outside of the drum but he made it look easy. Definitely recommend.

Great service, very easy to book online and prompt responses with great communication updates throughout the process too. The price point for the work we required was also very competitive, will definitely use these guys again in the future.

The technician arrived less than 3 hours after filling in online form and this was 22nd December. A control board had failed on my fridge freezer which was crammed with food for Christmas. He had one in his van which meant the job was completed before the fridge or freezer heated up. A life-saver!

Would highly recommend Lothian Domestics. Great communication from booking appointment up to arrival - text from engineer to say he was 20 mins away was very helpful. Engineer diagnosed problem quickly and gave me a breakdown of repair costs. Engineer also had replacement parts with him , so repair was carried out quickly with no need for return visit.

This is the second time I’ve used Lothian Domestics and each time has been a joy. The booking process is simple, the information provided about the job in advance, the progress and the expected time of arrival of the engineers are first rate. Big shout out to Scott too, efficient and a very pleasant guy!
