NO STARS FROM ME!!

NO STARS FROM ME!!
Geoff Hadley - Zero confidence in his valuation of my vehicle, especially as he didn't even recognise the vehicle model!

Bad attitude and expertise very questionable.

After having one of my vehicles damaged…

After having one of my vehicles damaged by a 3rd party I was not happy about the assessor saying it was a write off. I asked to be called and within a day (or two) I spoke to Geoff at JP Morriss. He explained to me how they calculate the loss, the factors taken into account and took time to discuss it with me so I understood exactly what was happening. I have to say that after some years of being told by faceless wonders my car/van was to be scrapped it was a remarkable and pleasant change to speak to someone who had time to discuss it with me. Well done Geoff, thank you for treating me like a person and not a case number.
Regards
J Collins

This company seems only to be…

This company seems only to be interested in scrapping your car, perhaps they get bonuses for this....
They gave an appalling assessment to my vehicle, while I was not there, so without opening the vehicle to check possible internal damage (side impact) yet quoting a 'B' (break only) report for a small dent on sill & a couple of dented panels without paint loss, also giving an incorrect current value for the vehicle, although they did rectify this after a complaint but this shows how poor the assessment was....
Another company quoted an 'N' using 'green parts' (secondhand parts) at 10% of what was quoted to repair it and yet they will not revise their report, Ombudsman now stepping in....
AVOID this company if you can, ask your broker who they use...

I had an accident recently in my …

I had an accident recently in my horsebox which was manufactured to a high specification. This company does not understand that where a horsebox is concerned, it is not the cab that is the expensive part but the container. Despite this, this unhelpful company offered me a pittance for my lorry despite the fact that I was the innocent party and that the other driver's insurance company has claimed 100% liability. They offered me less than 50% of the value that the lorry would have been bought back by the original manufacturers as they assessed on the cab only and compared prices on a sale site rather than looking at like to like. RUBBISH COMPANY !!!!

J P Morriss Assessors

I had a small accident early in May and the car was inspected by "J P Morriss Assessors" of Dunstable, the independent engineer has deemed the car a total loss as the cost of the repairs are 70% of the vehicle value.

I have put forward a case the the car must be scrapped, but the first option is that the car should be repaired and returned to me. If the car can not be repaired I have requested that the vehicle be destroyed or crushed. As I am still the registered keeper it should be honoured and not sold to a third party so that they can make a profit due to my miss fortune.

I have contacted and lodged a formal complaint but they are not interested in resolving the issue, as they are only interested in working with accident management company's with respect of the human factor and how it has effected that persons life.

I have been unemployed for 18 months and have to make regular trips to check on mother as she has a form of dementia, and I have to make sure that she is looking after herself.
