Excellent - Graham, James, and Lily helped enormously with a crypto dispute that was complex and took a number of years for settlement. Throughout, they were always attentive and incorporated our ideas and feedback. Most importantly, collaborative rather than dismissive of our own insights and work. In the end, we achieved the settlement we set out for despite the numerous challenges along the way that were expertly handled.

I can’t thank our solicitor, Lucy Mellor, enough for the outstanding support throughout our claim. From start to finish, she was incredibly compassionate, approachable, and professional. She took the time to explain every step clearly, ensuring we always understood the process, and kept us regularly updated, which gave us real peace of mind. Her dedication and care made a difficult situation much easier to navigate, and we are truly grateful for everything she has done.

I would not recommend this firm based on my experience, particularly in relation to their handling of costs and payment arrangements.

There was a lack of clear and consistent communication about fees from the outset, and the way the total costs and payment plan were presented changed more than once. This made it difficult to understand what was actually owed and why. I had to send multiple emails asking for clarification, but the responses did not fully address the questions raised or explain how the figures had been calculated in a clear and transparent way.

Despite requesting clarification on the breakdown of costs and how the revised payment amounts were reached, this was not properly explained, which added to confusion and uncertainty about the balance being claimed.

Overall, I found the approach to billing and payment handling to be unclear and inconsistent, and the communication around costs did not meet the level of transparency I would expect.

I wish to express my sincere thanks for the exceptional guidance, persistence and consideration provided by JMW Solicitors and in particular, Steven Brown for his personal understanding, support and dedication during the most difficult period of my life.

Whilst the whole process may have been lengthy, I really appreciate the extremely high level of professional expertise, attention to detail and determination in pursuing the best possible outcome for me.
