Would have better luck getting a reply out of my dead grandfather.
So many times I ask for an update, so many times I don’t get one.
Trying to sell my home with no chain, currently 3.5 months down the line and no end in sight.

We used Ison Harrison Solicitors to assist with our property sale and would recommend them to our friends and family. We dealt specifically with Sarah Smith and Leashia Chapman. House moves can be stressful but special thanks for being on hand to help with any questions we had and providing updates. We will be using Ison Harrison later this year to assist with the purchase of another property that we have found! Thanks again to Sarah and Leashia for all their help.

This was my first time in buying a house and so was stepping into the unknown! Ison Harrison, but more specifically, Michelle and Liz have been nothing short of outstanding, shown the care and attention that all first-time buyers should hope to receive!
Both Michelle and Liz make a great team, with a fast and efficient service and being completely transparent from start to finish! 100% would recommend!

I needed assistance with an employer settlement agreement. My solicitor Yunus was professional & offered clear advice throughout the quick process.

No Avoid at all costs, they have been attempting to do the conveyancing on my new build home.
They were recommended by the builder, persimmon homes, and have displayed resounding incompetence throughout.
They have proved difficult to contact, key contacts have been unavailable, or have gone on leave without updating case notes.
They provided incorrect advice about stamp duty tax (were first time buyers) and then proceeded to at a later point request further thousands of pounds. They nearly ruined the exchange due to lack of knowledge around lifetime isas, a common saving method for first time home buyers, putting at risk the whole process.
Today has to take top spot for biggest screw up. Due to an “accounting error” their end they’re now asking for a further £1000+ nearly 2 weeks after completion to pay the stamp duty. No phone call out of courtesy, just an email saying “sorry for the inconvenience.” A grand might be an inconvenience to some, but in my view that’s a big chunk of cash.
Honestly, save yourself the stress when buying a home, and steer well clear of this company.
Go with them if you want to suddenly stress about selling all our possessions to buy your new home, if you want to have emails unanswered, and money not accounted for and then demanded at a later date. Don’t pay the salaries of these fools who think £1000 is pocket change.
Stay well away!

Shocking company tried poorly to prevent a Child seeing her Father, Daughter ended up being transferred to Fathers custody full time with ison harrison doing their best poorly to prevent Father having any contact at all and declaring he will loose further contact as minimal as it was already.
Rest assured this Father did not give up he told them what he was going to do and he did despite the delusional beliefs of an un educated law firm that believes narcissistic mother and support their plight leaving Father having to spend thousands to prove the mother and law for are delusional or say ggod bye to kids.
The other thing nobody knows is the pain of the Father as he has to go through the debacle of the system…….every Father trying to stay strong and is suffering pain like no other will also say it’s about my child having a Father and will suffer in silence putting their child first doing the right thing for their Child

Leashia and Sarah did a great job in relation to our recent house purchase. The process was conducted in a professional and thorough manner and we were kept informed throughout. Highly recommended.

Possibly the worst solicitors in the country!

Do not use. We used this firm because of the good reviews. They made an error costing us thousands and we are having to seek alternative legal advice to claim it back. Ison Harrison have ignored all our complaint calls and emails.

This large team of solicitors guided us through the complex process of selling and buying a house. It was all done on-line including electronic signature of documents. If you are IT-literate then this is a great team to work with. We made several calls and had no problem contacting our solicitor by phone. We received updates by email and, where important, by phone. The difficult and sometimes stressful process of moving was made much more pleasant by their professional and friendly actions.

I used this firm to review a settlement from an employer who were paying my brother off for ill health. They suggested my brother ask the company for a higher settlement which nearly caused him to lose all of the money, he had to backtrack quickly and they charged my brother £600 for the privilege as well as £400 to the company. This happened in Sept 24 and they have just sent the invoice.

Used Ison Harrison for a house purchase in 2024 which ultimately fell through. They were poor at communicating and often didn’t respond to questions I asked without being chased. I was given few, to no, updates on the sale progression. Both my seller and my buyer complained about my solicitor.

When my house sale did fall through, I didn’t receive any further communication from Ison Harrison. No compassion. Just a bill to pay.

Really wouldn’t recommend these. I’m now in the process of purchasing another property with a different solicitor and the process has been so much better. I truly didn’t realise how poor Ison Harrison was until I used a different solicitor.

Avoid.

Ison Harrison provide sound, considered advice. They are professional and reliable in what they say they will do. I will use them again for conveyancing.

We just gone through convening process by Leashia and her assistant Sarah. They are so helpful and professional to handle all the stuffs. They try their best to fulfils all my request. I’m so happy and thank you for all their hard work. I would recommend them as your solicitor.

I had the pleasure of working with Charlotte Asquith for the conveyancing on a new build. As a first time buyer, Charlotte took all of the stress out of the process and made everything feel straightforward and manageable. She was amazing throughout - providing guidance at every stage, keeping things on track, and making sure we had a smooth and speedy exchange and completion.

I have just used Ison Harrison for the purchase of a property and cannot sing my solicitor, Julie Smith's, praises enough. From the start she understood that this was a matter I needed dealing with quite quickly and from the first point of contact, made sure that we had done everything needed to make sure it moved quickly.

It started off as a very stressful situation but after speaking with her over the phone for the first time, I felt confident that my matter would be handled just fine.

The thing I appreciated the most about this experience was that I never felt like a burden. She was more than happy to answer any questions or queries I had, was happy to call me and explain things, was efficient in handling the matter and, it never felt as though I was a pain which is an experience I've had with quite a few other solicitors now.
