They are so crap

They are so crap, I can barely be annoyed writing about them.
Ignore e-mails, send dummy researches, don't send the vouchers they promised - its all over these pages.
SHAME SHAME SHAME - give a whole new perspective to the word shameless.

Appeared to be scam, sharp practice re reward

I have been asked by Ipsos UK twice, via land-mails, to complete surveys on behalf of UK Home Office. I felt this would be a public spirited thing to do.

On the first occasion I was wary of a scam. I could find no mention of the survey on the Home Office website. I emailed the Home Office and received no response, I phoned the contact number given on the Home Office website and asked for the Home Office official named on the Ipsos letter. The switchboard could not find a number. I lay the blame for this at the door of both Home Office and Ipsos. Home Office should publicly endorse surveys carried out on their behalf but equally, as specialist contractors, Ipsos should liaise with Home Office to ensure this sort of thing does not happen. I had received no answer after several reminders so concluded that this was probably a scam and did not complete the survey.

On the second occasion I received a similar land-mail. I again looked on the Home Office website and finding no mention of the survey emailed Home Office partly to draw their attention to a possible scam carried out in their name. I was told by a member of Home Office staff they had just seen the named official and he had reassured them verbally that the survey was genuine. NB still nothing in writing on the Home Office site or from the named Home Office official.

I completed the survey. Although it was not my primary motivation I had been told there would be a modest gift as a reward for completion. I later received an offer of a selection of various vouchers from a third party organisation.

Claiming this involved signing up to the third party's T&C. I did not want to devote time to reading these. There was no information on any independent scrutiny of the T&C. My contract was with Ipsos, not any third party. If Ipsos have a contract with Hawk Select that is their concern. It is not acceptable to attempt to add additional T&C after a contract has been made. It is for Ipsos to supply the gift.
In fact most of the vouchers were from things I have no interest in. Probably I would have had to top up the amount to buy anything. My request for the value in cash was refused. After a fruitless exchange of emails the CEO of Ipsos (in Paris?) offered to pay out of his own pocket on receipt of my bank details. This seemed a pragmatic and ethical way forward so I agreed and said alternatively the money could be donated to charity. I have no evidence that any payment has been made, it certainly has not to my account.

All in all poor planning and amateur standards of organisation by both Home Office and Ipsos.

I’ve been a IPSOS and Knowledge Panel…

I’ve been a IPSOS and Knowledge Panel for years. Recently I’ve been asked to join CLEAR ID to prove who I am. I think this is stupid and just a way of not showing trust in your customers. I am personally cashing out and then quitting both survey spots! You don’t trust me after all these years, I don’t trust you on this site either.

Membership reinstated and points redeemed.

I'm evidently a member again and have successfully redeemed my points. I never received a reply from Ipsos regarding my non member status, I just received a invite to a survey. Hopefully I will not have any issues going forward. Will update as needed.

Department of Transport ????

After waiting a long time to receive my voucher I contacted them and finally a £5 voucher was sent by email. When I tried to redeem the voucher it was below the minimum requirement of £10 so I am unable to cash it in. Avoid this as it is clearly a scam and I am extremely disappointed if Ipsos are genuinely connected to the Department of Transport.

I am so mad

I am so mad. I have been doing their surveys for years. Now I tried to redeem 2 $25 Amazon gift cards, they deducted my points and never gave me the cards. No answer to my numerous emails.

Disappointing Experience – Bias, Poor Communication & Unprofessional Conduct

I have had an extremely frustrating experience with Ipsos New Zealand’s mystery shopping service. Despite meeting all stated criteria and having **over 15 years of experience**, I have consistently encountered **biased selection practices**, tasks being assigned and revoked without justification, and **severe delays in communication**.

It has become increasingly clear that **evaluators are not chosen based on merit**, but rather through a selective and unfair process. Ipsos also fails to **properly acknowledge errors**, disregards feedback, and **assigns tasks at inadequate incentives** without considering evaluators’ input. Furthermore, professional standards are lacking, with **dismissive and coercive responses** from certain representatives.

For a company of Ipsos’s stature, **transparency and fairness should be a priority**, yet they continue to fall short. If you value **honest selection, reasonable compensation, and professional communication**, I strongly **advise looking elsewhere** for mystery shopping opportunities.

Better sleep advertises a 7 day free…

Better sleep advertises a 7 day free trial but you must give your credit card in the event you want to continue after the free trial period. I installed the app and within 12 hours cancelled my subscription and now they are telling me that the 7 day free trial is only for certain features. What a crock of BS. Don’t download this app! They are a scam.

This is the worst survey site in the world. I spent a lot of time doing the survey but they didn't give me any points due to a system error and I didn't get any help.
