100% recommend

Started having normal 2 hour lessons once a week started to think I wasn't getting anywhere and decided to do a intensive course. Within a few months they got me a test with how bad tests are at the moment , customer service was incredible every question I had was answered, my instructor was so nice so glad I went for an intensive if I was still doing 2 hour lessons I would still be waiting for a test

I am an older driver and I really…

I am an older driver and I really needed to get passed asap they arranged a course in the Swansea area as tests where more available it all got completed within a month. They where incredibly helpful and where happy to walk me through every aspect of the booking with reassurance. The instructor was great and really appreciate getting passed so quickly.

Wouldn’t recommend at all

Wouldn’t recommend at all!
Paid £1004 all together with a deposit of £400ish for them to find me an instructor and a test? This was a 14hour course.

Instructor wouldn’t even let attempt my test due to a failed mock - even though my driving was safe, just needed to remember a few things, but again, wouldn’t even let me attempt my test for the experience, or even maybe a pass! So over £1000 down the drain.

I said I had driven before, told them my experience, agreed a 14hour course, I wasn’t offered a lesson first to see if this was sufficient either.

After speaking to another instructor, they said it would have been cheaper to just buy a block of lessons with an instructor and for them to find you a test. Now I’m left with no money for another test!

I did get a whole £43 back for ONE missed hour of lesson!

Highly recommend

Highly recommend. It’s considerably cheaper than its competitors, I paid ~900 for 14 hours including the test. I passed today with only 4 minors, 4th time lucky. For anyone who has failed a couple of times I really recommend it, a lot of hours just before the test is really useful. Graham was a really good instructor, and all round solid guy, ask for him if you can.

Avoid This Company

Avoid This Company – Extremely Unprofessional

I strongly advise people to avoid Intensive Drive. The instructors are unreliable, and the company has a strict no-refund policy under any circumstances, regardless of the problems you experience.

I spent almost £2,000 on driving lessons. On multiple occasions, the instructor arrived late, failed to show up, or arrived with no apology at all, which was extremely unprofessional and stressful. During lessons, the instructor was frequently talking on the phone while teaching, which affected the quality of the instruction and my confidence.

The most unacceptable experience was the day before my driving test, which I had already paid for, when the instructor suddenly told me I was “not prepared” and refused to take me to the test.

When I contacted the company, they showed no interest in resolving the situation. I was not allowed to speak to a manager, and they eventually hung up the phone on me.

This experience caused significant stress, financial loss, and disappointment. There was no accountability or customer care. Please avoid Intensive Drive at all costs.

Absolutely disconcerting that a company…

Absolutely disconcerting that a company like this are aloud to trade.

I’m in the process of taking legal proceedings against them. They will steal your money, promote getting a test that doesn’t exist.

Get your head down, take weekly lessons and search yourself for a test is my advice as you won’t get one from these people.

They might as well have masks on when they take your money because you feel like you’re being robbed.

I’ve reported to DVSA and they will get shut down because they are selling tests that don’t exist. Any positive reviews on here must be fake!

You should be ashamed if yourselves.

This company does not even deserve one…

This company does not even deserve one star. We had a test booked for my son which I told the company about, and yet they managed to book another test three months later which cancelled out his previous test. I am furious and they don’t even call you back. Do not use this company!! You speak to a different person every time. There is no client relationship whatsoever.

Silver-tongued thieves?

Silver-tongued thieves, in my view. 6 months and nothing. It’s not just the money. My poor kid could have been on the road by now. How have they not been closed down?

Scammers

Scammers. They will charge you 260 pounds and doesn't give you a date. You have to beg them to return your money for a month. I have now taken court proceedings against them.

Rip off middleman company

Do not under any circumstances use this company they don't have any instructors they're just a middleman that will not ever give you a refund if you needed one. They contact the local instructors in your area and give them a 50 percent cut of the money you've paid so your much better off looking for a local instructor that will do an intensive course and it'll save you alot of money and frustration.

Avoid at all costs

I don’t normally leave reviews, but my experience was so bad it is inadvertently funny.

We all know that in the Post Covid universe it is impossible in some areas to book driving lessons (let alone an actual test).

I already had one bad experience with a previous school (which did however refund me), but this company (with its set up and reviews) seemed a very safe choice.

After patiently waiting 5 weeks (as per their instructions) to get a practical test and driver allocated to me, I found out I was booked for a test in a town 40 mins away by car.

I thought the instructor would obviously come to my door and use this distance as driving practice, but no.

When I asked the company how exactly I am supposed to go there 3-4 times per week, I was curtly told this is my problem and I can just commute or get lifts (or hitchhike? Or take a tour bus? or swim? ).

Clearly it didn’t occur to anyone that if I were able to move so freely between towns, I would not need to learn to drive.

More rhetorical gems followed – apparently I don’t know how to read documents and have a secret, yet overwhelming desire to give driving schools my hard earned cash and then spend months reclaiming it (we all have vices).

Unfortunately these wonderful exchanges had to end, as their messages became so rude and harassing that I asked them to stop communicating unless it is to return me my deposit (they won’t).

So that is sadly the end of a beautiful friendship.
Morale of the story: DON’T spend your hard earned cash learning with those people, BUT absolutely follow their advice: get a lift instead.

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking. I have never had to put up with such terrible organisation. I originally booked my course around November and they told me my test would be roughly around February. They then called in February and told me they’ve managed to book a test in April for me, however when it came to one week before my test they called me and told me it had been moved further back to august at a minimum. I then called up another, better reviewed site and they instantly got me an instructor and test booked for June. I would highly recommend steering clear of this site and I wish I had listened to the reviews.

The website isn't accurate

The website lists all the towns it covers but you have to get through the entire booking process, and then call to pay your deposit, before they tell you that actually they have no instructors in York or Bristol - both of which are listed. The website makes it look a lot more slick than it is, which seems to be one person on the end of a phone managing a lot of freelancers who come and go. Really unreliable

Shocking!! Took my money!! No response

Booked a 20 hour course for almost £1000, waited 2 months for availability which was fine and agreed on. The first day of my course there was absolutely no sign of my instructor, at 10 past 12 he text me after ignoring all of me and my partners calls saying he had a puncture on the way to me and he would add an hour onto the rest of the days to make up for it. (Find that hard to believe) come day 2, I’ve called him 20+ times, I’ve called the company 20+ times on the Monday and the Tuesday and had none of them pick up my calls. I’ve left messages, voicemails, emails, called them and I’ve got nothing. I’m so disappointed as I took time off work for this and have waited, I’ve been depending on this course for my family and even bought a car that now god knows when I will be able to drive it!!!

Great experience!

My experience with intensive driving school was wicked, sorted quickly and efficiently. My instructor was Andy P, and he ticked all the boxes. All around sound as a pound, great company and I will recommend to all my learner friends.
