Our stay had a bright spot with Heidi, but the overall booking and management experience left us deeply frustrated and exasperated due to unprofessional communication and missing items.

The Good Points -

Heidi’s Warmth: Heidi was wonderful, our dog loved her, and she truly could not do more for us during our stay.

Accommodation - lodge was lovely. Jacuzzi was nice and it’s set amongst a few lodges.
Quiet with no noise or activities on site. Perfect for a retreat.

Negatives - Second bathroom had a shower head but no wall attachment to allow a full hands free shower. This meant our en-suite became the shared bathroom. All glasses were plastic.

The Management and Communication Issues: We received a series of irritated and exasperated phone voicemails from Nicky prior to arrival that set a very stressful tone. I work long hours and answering personal calls can prove difficult. I spoke with Nicky the day before arrival and the tone was similar to the voicemails. This communication set a negative tone before even starting our holiday.

The Missing Items left Behind Produce: We accidentally left behind a whole selection of unopened jams and local produce in the lodge. This was an oversight on our behalf but the items were in excess of £50. We called to see whether these could be posted to us if we covered the delivery cost. We were then told that no goods were in the lodge. We can only deduce that the items were removed by the cleaners. With the cost of the items as well as being a service for holiday makers, I find it concerning that no effort was made to put them to the side or contact us. I’m only thankful that we didn’t accidentally leave any more irreplaceable items.

I booked a 2 week holiday for next year and realised I had booked the wrong accommodation the staff were really friendly and helpful and did the changes without any problems. Thank you

Very easy process to book online. Location we wanted.
One thing I wish was that there were more places available that dont allow dogs. As my husband has allergies to pet fur. So finding somewhere suitable can take more time checking every description. As some say no pets but then pets as an extra cleaning price.

We had a family holiday booked which we were unable to take due to one of my daughters falling pregnant, the due date fell right in the middle of our trip. I first spoke to someone on the Hoseason chat who was very unhelpful. I asked for a number so I could actually speak to a human, which they gave. I then spoke to a young lady who was incredibly helpful, changed my holiday to next year, same park, same caravan and dates. Looking forward now to our family holiday.

The customer service gentleman I spoke with yesterday was polite extremely helpful and resolved my request. It was good that I could speak with an actual person instead of a robot…. So well done hoseasons for providing a great service
I have been using Hoseasons to book our holidays for many years the website is easy to navigate and it is always my first go to provider as I have total trust in your company we always find our perfect break away.

We stayed at Looe bay retreat lovely quiet site we stayed in Ceddar Lodge 121 such a shame lovely caravan but the mattress was terrible very worn down so sleeping on it every night ruined what would of been a lovely holiday and the hot tub had definitely seen better days .

Wonderful time with my family. Place so friendly and caravan spotless. Thank you all

A mixture of good and bad.
A nice holiday park but entertainment was almost nonexistent even though we went during the school summer holidays.

Lodge was comfortable and clean but the tv didn’t work location was good plus there was a super market near by cooking was good had everything apart from a strainer 👍

Peaceful location. Spotlessly clean and fully equipped kitchen. Not many walks on the doorstep but that was fine for us as we travelled out every day. Everything is just a short drive away in Launceston.

Had such a laugh here for different reasons than you may think. A lot of years since I've done the holiday park but with grandkids and some spare time we headed off to a caravan. Everyone works hard to make your time here fun. It's been good and the kids have had a ball. I'll be glad to get home but it's been fun

All my dealings with Hoseasons over the years has been excellent
