I have just completed the GVC training course with Heliguy - fantastic experience!
I am so pleased that this organisation employ such knowledgeable, approachable and professional staff in Lois and Andrew.
With the course broken down to two groups, Lois was my allocated instructor. I applaud her patience and proactive approach to the delivery of the training. I had never operated a drone prior to the course and can confidently say that Lois allowed me to develop the skills and knowledge required to successfully pass the course through her dedicated approach and top level professionalism. I would highly recommend this course.

I had never flown a drone before this course and I can honestly say that Lois my instructor was so patient with me. Everything was explained well and nothing was too much trouble for her to go over again. She made sure everyone understood fully before moving on to something new.
Andrew and Lois are both really good instructors they make you feel calm and are both very knowledgeable, whether that’s in the classroom or out on the field.

Really helpful company, very professional and knowledgeable. I completed my A2 with Heli-guy and can’t fault them. Would definitely recommend!

Today and yesterday I completed the GVC training course and my GVC assessment with Bradley from Heliguy, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. With very little flight experience beforehand, I was a bit apprehensive, but Bradley led me through everything calmly and clearly.

He explained each step in a way that was easy to follow and built my confidence throughout the day. Even when both my UAV and Heliguy's UAV experienced calibration issues, Bradley handled the situation with complete professionalism and quickly resolved the problems.

By the time of the assessment, I felt as prepared and reassured as I could be. Even under pressure, Bradley’s calm and supportive approach made the experience far less daunting, and I left feeling confident in my abilities.

I would highly recommend Bradley and Heliguy to anyone looking for training and assessment for their GVC.

Heliguy dealt with my drone repair following a crash. Excellent service throughout with great regular communication to keep me updated, all sorted within a week.

Tom has a very engaging, positive, low pressure and fun teaching style that has built the confidence and practical skills I need to perform my job role. After 5 years it was time to renew my A2 CofC and Heliguy came recommended.

The course was really well laid out and easy to follow submitting the practical flight records also simple and easy.

I really like the mock exam which helped me really hone my learning, and the net result passed first time!

Reliable, fast and effective repair of my drone, assessed and repaired by honest people operating with integrity. I simply wont go anywhere else after experiencing such an outstanding service from people who are excellent at communicating with their customers. Can't thank these guys enough. Within a few days I went from a crashed, broken drone, to receiving a fully functioning repair at a fabulous cost. Happy days!

Completed my practical training and assessment over the two days culminating in successful examination. Andrew was my instructor/assessor. I’ve just completed and passed my A2 CofC and GVC with Heliguy and I can’t recommend this training provider highly enough. Heliguy training has been a great learning experience with an excellent online course. Thank you to the team members who helped and supported me with any questions I had (I’m sorry I’ve not remembered your names).

For the names a have remembered… A big thanks goes to Ryan, who carefully reviewed my planning documentation and lengthy PDRA01 operations manual. His attention to detail and support behind the scenes made the process so much smoother and gave me real confidence heading into the assessment.

However, the real star of the show was Lois, my flight assessment assessor/coordinator. From the moment I arrived she was welcoming, approachable and instantly put me at ease. What could have been a nerve racking day turned into something genuinely enjoyable thanks to her calm, friendly manner. Her professionalism and depth of knowledge around drones, aviation law and systems is second to none — she even went the extra mile to show me features I hadn’t yet discovered. That kind of passion and expertise really stood out.

Honestly, if you get Lois as your assessor, you’ve basically won the lottery. She’s the perfect blend of professional and approachable and she turned what I expected to be a stressful test into a positive, confidence building experience. She’s a huge credit to the organisation and deserves every bit of praise.

Without doubt, a 5-star experience from online training, learning modules, exams all the way to flight assessment!
