Closed a clear non-fault claim as MY fault.
Extremely disappointed with Hastings Direct. The other party explicitly accepted full liability over the phone directly with Hastings Direct, yet after dragging their feet for months, Hastings closed the file as a fault claim against me.
Everyone was in agreement on fault, yet they handled it completely backwards. A warning to anyone considering them: when it comes to claims, they fail their customers.

For cheaper quote, they want to install an APP to follow me around
Tried to renew and was told that if I didn’t want Hastings Premiere I have to install THEIR APP which will follow ME around (not my car).
Spoke to a technology engineer and he informed me that Hastings AI trying to get my personal information and data for 30day
I have cancelled with Hastings direct and gone with another provider who is cheaper with ALL the perks and benefits and won’t follow me around

Insurance is good but that's all
App doesn't work and can only speak to a person on weekdays during normal work hours. According to the website they work Saturday and Sunday but that's not the case. I have a van and a car policy but can't see both. Originally had car insurance but when I added the van the car policy disappeared. Made a claim and after two years not sorted so van insurance is sky high even though the claim isn't settled and now I got a court case pending from the person that hit me. It's very stressful and feel they have forgot me as not heard a word in over a year
