I had a query before I sent my items in, Michael replied very quickly. They were honest about the process and price I would potentially get which put me at ease. I sent items in via the prepaid envelope and it was received by gold monkey the next day and I received an offer the same day which was so quick. The offer was itemised and was easy to understand and explained everything clearly. I happily accepted the offer which was very good and I received confirmation the same day. I am very happy with the service provided, the speed, clarity and honesty in which my queries were answered and the speed and convenience of the whole process. Great fast service! Sent my gold one day and the money was in my account by 3pm the next. Great contact. Called me with a question and then I had the quote and thin the following hour. Clear, informative emails that kept me up to date. Have already referred my mum! Will definitely use again.

Cannot recommend The Gold Monkeys highly enough! I was a bit nervous about selling gold via the post but it was super easy. Postage was paid for and insured. The selling pack was delivered quickly and was clear/easy to use. I was given a quote before sending my gold away and received an updated quote within 4 hours of my gold being delivered to them by Tracked delivery: and they even offered me more than my original quote as the price of gold had gone up in the last couple of days. Very happy I chose Goldmonkeys, excellent service, even offered more than quoted due to the price of gold increasing since the original quote, money in my account the same day as I accepted the offer.

I shopped around, and sent metals to a few different companies. GoldMonkeys was by far the best experience of the companies tested. Despite precious metal prices falling, and ending up sending less than I was originally quoted for, GoldMonkeys stuck to the valuation in their original quote when it came to payment. There was an issue with the amount I was actually paid vs what I was told they would pay. A quick email rectified this immediately. I was also offered more than enough extra compensation to make up for the inconvenience. Overall very happy with my experience, and intend to do business with them in the future.

From the minute I contacted gold monkeys I was impressed. I got in contact after doing a google search and I saw the reviews. I can see why. From the first message I sent with a couple of questions on Saturday I got a reply almost straight away, from a real human might I add!! No robot! I requested my pack to send off but while waiting I popped in to a local independent jeweller for them to offer more than £100 less. The very next day my pack arrived so I got on and rushed to the post office and sent it off. Gold monkeys send a special delivery pack so it arrived before 1pm the next day. I was very aware that there could be a delay in quotes etc as it’s been busy but throughout this communication they stuck to their words and contacted me later that evening with a quote. I accepted and was paid in less than 5 minutes of me accepting gold monkeys offer. I will be recommending gold monkeys to everyone I know and definitely use them again. Very quick in bank transferring the money and also an honest company. A ring I thought was platinum was actually 22 carrot gold and they were very quick in informing me. 22 carrot gold is worth a lot more than platinum

Excellent fast and very fair service. Despite gold and silver prices falling 15% they honoured their online guaranteed price which was the best quote I had received. The payment was made into my bank account within 24 hours of them receiving my items. Thank you so much.

The service is fast and the paperwork straightforward, but the process for testing jewellery is not clearly explained. My earrings were returned dismantled and missing the diamond, which caused significant upset. While the gold was valued fairly, the loss of sentimental items highlights that the website and consent forms do not make the consequences of stone removal obvious. Good customer communication could prevent this in the future.

Highly recommend, very easy to use. Paid an increased price based on gold pricing rising from minimum quote to day of receipt. Paid into bank account on the same day as acceptance of valuation.
