We used Gilson Gray England for selling our home, and then Gilson Gray Scotland for buying our new home in Scotland. Due to the different conveyancing laws it was two separate transactions.
I cant speak highly enough of both our conveyancers at Gilson Gray. Ashley was fantastic in ensuring we met deadlines, exchanged and completed by hard deadlines we had.
Caitlin at Gilson Gray Scotland made the buying process very simple, ensuring everything went without any bumps.
Buying and selling homes is always stressful, even more so when conveyancing processes do not align, but Ashley and Caitlin really did take the stress out of it. They kept me updated at every turn, answered my questions, no matter how silly they were and always came back to me promptly.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gilson Gray to anyone buying or selling a home.

Kirsten Dickie was super helpful, gave good advice and had a friendly approachable manner. My property sale went through within 7 weeks, everything was quick and we had regular communication throughout the process. I really appreciated working with Kirsten.

Everyone says buying a house (especially your first) is nerve wracking and stressful but Gilson Gray have been so good from the get go, especially Kirsten Dickie. They do have a link to view the progress of the sale but she's kept me in the loop along the way and as a first time buyer, made the process less anxiety inducing. She made reading legal documents super easy, taking all the key points out - basically doing the graft for me. Anytime I've pushed for an update (which was only needed about once because of my own worries) she was extremely quick to get things progressing. Expectations were set & stuck to. Can't thank Kirsten Dickie enough. Whole process was quick & easy, about 6 weeks & I move into my house on Friday! I'd highly recommend. 😊

Rachel Greig role modelled neuroaffirming practice, keeping both me and my daughter informed throughout the conveyancing process. After a dreadful experience with another firm, Rachel was a breath of fresh air and has renewed our faith in the legal profession.
