Yet again service outage - really not good enough for businesses dependent on online sales, and again no emails. This is now twice within 6 months and would indicate Freeolamail is not a reliable prov... See more

Having done simple comparisons of various network providers in my new home / area, it was determined a difficult place for good reception. Finally chose "Freeola". Thank goodness I did. When neighbours complain about their reception problems from big name networks I smile because in the six months since I moved here, my reception and quality of service has been exemplary. Rated excellent !
I have used this company for a number of years, I have had no problems of any kind. The staff have been helpful and sympathetic. The phone contact has been quick and seamless. Well done.
Freeola has hosted two sites for me for very many years. Always extremely reliable. On the very few times I've had to ask for help - usually when it wasn't even their problem, they've been very quick to respond and help fix it.
Having been a loyal customer for over 20 yrs (with very few problems), the last month (June 2025) has seen several outages that have caused huge issues for my family. Given I pay for the email pro service, can you inform customers how we will receive recompense for this. Sadly, I have started searching new services, (although I would prefer not to leave) as reliability is vital to me.

Used to be reliable but for a paid for email service, two long outages in the last month is not acceptable. Status updates are laughably vague, how long it will take for “3rd party provider” to arrive etc, but no useful information on when service will be restored. No point in paying if free gmail/hotmail is more reliable! A partial refund for the last month should be given automatically.

As a customer for around twenty years now, a vote of thanks for the way you're dealing with this current third-party data centre outage on a Sunday. While it's inconvenient timing for this particular customer, your regular - almost hourly - updates are appreciated.
This could so easily have been a negative review, particularly given the similar issue only three weeks ago, but your track record in all areas has been excellent right up until now. It would be good to know whether this particular data centre/fibre issue is related to the previous event or whether it reflects a wider issue with fibre connections over distributed third parties.
Right now, I'm staying loyal, but if this becomes a regular occurrence, I'll have to give serious consideration to the wider market.

I’ve been a Freeola customer on and off for over 20 years, and they’ve consistently stood out as one of the most reliable and approachable ISPs I’ve dealt with. Over the last six years, they’ve provided both our FTTC and FTTP broadband services — and I can honestly say the experience has been excellent throughout.
More recently, I was contacted by Charles from Freeola about their new CityFibre broadband packages. Not only did the new offering come with a reduced monthly tariff (always welcome!), but it also maintained the same friendly, customer-focused service that’s become a hallmark of the Freeola brand. It felt less like a sales pitch and more like someone genuinely looking out for better value on my behalf.
There were some minor delays during the process of organising appointments and installation, This was an issue with city fibre not freeola. That said, we had reliable Freeola Broadband so no issue there, every question or query I had along the way was answered quickly and thoroughly, and the communication was clear and courteous throughout.
When it came to the actual installation, it was carried out efficiently and with minimal disruption. The engineer was professional and left everything neat and tidy, which is often not the case with other providers I'll even give Kelly Communications 5 stars for the landscaping, covering up where they laid the cable. Unfortuanetly the installer could cope with customer router configuration, this was down to me, however as expected any technical support concerns were addressed as needed has and equally smooth — responsive, polite, and well-informed.
Freeola continues to prove that bigger isn’t always better. Despite not being one of the major players, their service levels, value for money, and customer care are absolutely first-class. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others and would trust them with any aspect of the services they provide.
A long-standing customer for good reason — keep up the great work, Freeola!

The RQS site builder is awful. Instant pro was far kore user friendly.

Been a customer for a year now, and nothing but good to say about Freeola.
We've had a couple of incidents, not their fault, and they picked in with support even though it wasn't, strictly, anything to do with their service. More helpful than anyone else on the case.
I have been with Freeola since 2000! And they are great. No problems, good communication. Definitely worth a look.
Customer service are unecessarily rude. Very unpleasant start to the morning talking to their representative.

I have been with Freeola & GetDotted for almost 20 years and they have never failed to help with any queries or problems I came up against. Each Staff Member is incredibly helpful, professional and great to deal with. Whatever the problem I have, Freeola Staff is always more than willing to help.
Many times I have received offers to change away from Freeola but I simply trust them and will remain with them.
I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this amazing company.
I've been using Freeola (and getdotted) for a long time and I've always had an excellent service from them. Initiall I was looking for a domain name for my family to use and I drawn to them because they were a good price but also because they were based close to where I grew up.
I have a number of domains registered with them now, plus I use their InstantPro web editing tool for one of them I also use the EmailPro so I can send and receive email from anywhere which means I can move broadband provider without having to change email.
I've never had a problem with any of the services I use with them and the main control panel page is easy to navigate and use.
I've been using Freeola & GetDotted since early 2017. I wasn't sure who to use for my personal domain and email when I signed up and imagined that the cost of the domain and email would rise steeply over the years once I was committed (like my broadband provider!). I have to say I am pleasantly surprised and I will continue to use them as they have been not only reasonably priced but totally reliable over the years. My Freeola email receives the least spam of all my accounts and has become my primary personal email for all the important stuff. Cannot recommend them highly enough!
When I contacted Freeola with a problem, I got to actually speak to someone, quickly & efficiently solving the email issue I had in minutes. Always had good service, very happy!
I've used Freeola for years and always found them great. In the event of technical problems the helpline is excellent.
I set up two web sites many years ago with Freeola and I am pleased to say the service has been first class. When I have needed help to change one site to a 'shop' technical support was fantastic. When I wanted to send e-mails from my web site address, once again the technical support was fantastic. I have absolutely no complaints at all in the years I have been with Freeola and I have no intention of changing from them. Highly recommended.
