Leaving from Rosyth under the three bridges and then looking at the Edinburgh, Fife and East Lothian coast must be one of the best departures.
Crew in dining rooms, bars and cabins are smiley, helpful and quickly get to know each person as an individual. I assume officers are good as we got to all ports on the itinerary. Chefs are excellent and along with waitors are sympathetic and cater beautifully for those of us with allergies. Bridge was great. Book club was at a time that clashed with many other activities as was much of the dancing. Appreciated some of the entertainment in the Observatory and Lido Lounge. Some of the lectures v good but not as good a variety as previous cruises. Please, please do many more cruises from Rosyth with longer itineraries. Cruises seem to have got shorter. I like at least 14 if not 16 - 20 nights and I still work. I’d love if you went from Rosyth to many Mediterranean places such as Dubrovnik, Montenegro etc or Greenland, Iceland and Faroes. I have been to the latter two from Rosyth but wish for longer cruises.

An amazing experience. Great food, great cabins, great space around the ship, great entertainment. On Fred Olsen Cruises you are truly pampered, nothing is too much trouble. The staff and crew are really friendly as are other travellers on board.

As always, Fred Olsen is the best. Lovely crew and always good service. Would not cruise with anyone else ☺️

Loved it all

I enjoyed my second cruise experience. My single cabin had enough space for a solo traveller. I am used to being provided with toiletries and a bathrobe so wish you would provide all cabins with these items. The staff were outstanding especially in the MDR. The ship is a lovely size which was easy to negotiate around. The solo travellers were very well catered for.
I would have preferred not to have two sea days at the end of the cruise.

Right from the start, when booking the cruise at Fred Olsen travel agents in Colchester, we were given great service & advice. The on-line account was very easy to use to book excursions & look up information about the cruise.
When the cruise day arrived everything was very well organised from arrival, collecting our luggage & check in. On board all the staff were very friendly, hardworking, happy & couldn’t do enough. The food, drinks, waiter service, house keeping, entertainment, activities etc., were excellent. The ship was always clean & tidy. Fred Olsen have thought of everything & we couldn’t fault anything. We had an amazing time on our first cruise! 😊

As usual an enjoyable cruise with FOCL. There is a noticeable difference in the restaurants since the introduction of included wine/ beer at lunch and dinner. It is disappointing that the extra work involved in this has fallen to the existing waiter and assistant waiter rather than re-introducing wine waiters as were in place in the past. The dedicated wait staff never complained but they were very stretched with this change.

An amazing experience. Nothing too much trouble for the ship's staff. Food to die for and never had to queue for a table. Plenty of activities and entertainment. Already booking for next year. Small ship cruising is the way to go.

From check in to disembarkation the organisation was excellent. The itinerary, staff attentiveness and cleanliness all round were excellent. The food was extremely good and very plentiful. The only negative was the smell of fuel on lower decks frequently. This would not put me off cruising again. We thoroughly enjoyed our first cruise experience.

This was our first cruise. We have nothing but praise for Fred Olsen. The customer service, quality of food ,quality of entertainment and excursions was excellent. We visited Norway, during fantastic weather and would definitely recommend this cruise to regular cruisers or first timers.
