I would recommend to better ship the items. The clothing wasn’t even folded properly nor was protected. It was just put in a the shipping bag like that.

The right pant leg was sewn wrong where…

The right pant leg was sewn wrong where the stitch seem came forward, not sitting straight and noticeable.
I bought them the night before as I needed brown pants, took off the tag, put them on and realized that the leg was badly sewn; went to the store near my office at Vaughan Mills; the salesgirl said nothing she can do for me!! Plus I was wearing them! I could not exchange with another pair;....I also bought them in bone colour and they are perfect!! The brown ones was defective!

Exceptional service

Exceptional service. It's difficult to work in the service industry, and that difficulty shows in retail workers not having a lot of tolerance anymore and not invested in providing good service any more. Poor wages, poor treatment of staff contribute to this. Very different than when I worked in high-end retail in the early 2000s. Even at places like Holt Renfrew, the service is lacking, even if you are spending.

My experience at the Dynamite location in Chinook was exceptional. I was asked if I needed help by multiple associates throughout my time there, but not in a performative, imposing way. What stood out was the level of service provided by Besma (sp?). She went above and beyond helping me find jeans, and various other items, and to top it off, I could hear her providing the same level of service to multiple clients in the fitting room at the same time, as well as communicating effectively with her coworkers. She was warm, charismatic and made me feel very welcome in the store, despite not being Dynamite's demographic. The woman who checked me out was also lovely, as was her coworker who steamed my two items with so much care. I loved my time there, and I love the direction Dynamite has gone styling well. It's become one of my top shopping destinations. Whatever you are doing, keep it up!

Shopped at the dynamite at the upper Canada mall in Newmarket and it is the best customer service I have received in years. Sara was super attentive and helpful and friendly hard to find these days.

Amazing Staff and Styles

The Rideau Centre store is a little small, but the styles available are great. They had my size and I was able to try the pieces on. The line for the change room was a little long, but it’s worth the wait. The staff were kind and helpful. Overall, a great experience :)

I believe her name was Amber — she was working the morning of April 16th at Square One — and she was absolutely amazing. I had to try on multiple sizes across different clothing items, and she was more than willing to help every single time, going back to find sizes for me at least five times without hesitation.

Whether it was checking the back or finding the same item in a different colour, she went above and beyond. She also took the time to explain how each piece should fit, pointing out things like extra fabric or how we should size down, but if it was too tight on my shoulders, we should go back up a size, which I really appreciated.

I say this as someone who has been in a management position in hospitality for the last 5 years — her level of service truly stood out. She was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience enjoyable. Employees like her make such a difference — she absolutely deserves recognition, a raise, or even a promotion.

My only feedback would be regarding the product itself: the cream-coloured pants are very see-through, and I’ve had a similar issue with some of the skirts. I’ve had to go to a tailor to have extra fabric stitched in just to make them wearable. I would have purchased more items if this weren’t an issue, so I hope this can be addressed by the supplier.
