Easy to use website and App.

We’ve booked a ferry from Fukouka to Busan, cancelled our flight plan, booked hotel in Fukouka, just for Directferries to cancel/rebooking our trip for a week later..
They dont have up-to-date knowledge about how many seats/rooms has been sold. THEY ARE GUESSING ON YOUR BEHALF.
And when we are reaching out trough their online chat, they are SLOW to respond. If they even do respond.

Thanks for making our journey a lot more difficult.

It was very strange. I had put in the request for the return dates without specifying the times. The ferry prices were very interesting but too early for us. So I redid the request with more suitable times, and to our shock the prices had doubled. We therefore bought the Shuttle tickets instead even though they were slightly more expensive because we would gain at least an hour in the crossing. I think that of the ferry wants to remain competitive, this sort of price change must not occur.

The staff are very helpful, honest and great.

Great service, booked about an hour before we arrived in Dover and got straight on the ferry to Calais.

Caused stress and confusion. We had got stuck in france because of lost car keys. I found the site very unhelpful regarding rebooking. In retrospect I should have just cancelled and rebooked. Upon trying to change the ferry return I was told it was multiple different prices between £40 and £190 before settling at £90. This rescheduled sailing had to be cancelled and the rebooked one was around the original price- very frustrating

Very easy to follow the ferry schedule and book based on time of day and time on ferry. Directions to ferry were clear and easy to follow.

Great App, been using it for two/ three years. In the past it used to be very glitchy but now it’s working absolutely fine. Keep up the good work.
The only complaint I have is that the price for booking a ferry now days is spiralling out of control year on year.

It was easy and straight forward to book. Clear services and additional items for booking.

Our experience with Direct Ferries in Sweden was extremely frustrating and a complete waste of time.

Their platform is highly misleading. They advertise ferry departures, prices, and availability that appear to be bookable, but after you go through the entire process—including providing your personal details and payment card information—you are only informed that this is not a confirmed booking, but merely a booking request.

Over the next 48 hours, they repeatedly came back saying that our selected option was unavailable and kept offering different alternatives with different departure times, and even different onboard accommodation. In other words, the service they advertised was never actually available.

By the time we realized that Direct Ferries was simply acting as a middleman with no ability to secure the booking they displayed, we cancelled the request. Unfortunately, they had already wasted two full days, during which the best options with the original ferry operator had sold out.

If we had booked directly with the ferry company from the beginning, we would have avoided this entire experience.

Direct Ferries added no value whatsoever—only delays, misleading availability, and unnecessary frustration. I would strongly recommend booking directly with the ferry operator instead of using this platform.
