I went to Roy Preddys originally when my husband passed away last year. I could not fault them at all. I went back to book my funeral so that my children dont have to worry when my time comes. Ross was extremely nice and patient, and allowed me pick everything I wanted. I would recommend them wholeheartedly,

I went there again yesterday, with my wife. The toilets were gruesome again. When were they last thoroughly cleaned? Not in recent times clearly. Horrible embarrassment.
The gardens, towards the back and sides continue to be dreadful!
Covered in weeds and thistles, the grass uncut and the edging has gone. No attempt at watering or retaining soil moisture, roses dead, bushes overgrown and rubbish scattered.
I paid several thousands £ for maintenance and roses' in perpetuity' on my father's grave (who died in 09/22). There is no maintenance now on my father's grave area and there has not been for a long while and there seems to be nothing organised in the future, apart from a few fading signs. I now have to go weekly and clear the weeds and rubbish from the site with my wife. Judging from the published articles, it seems that a lot of relatives are having to do the same.
Many bereaved families have recently expressed deep upset over the condition of St Faiths Crematorium, citing horribly overgrown grounds, thistles, and neglected memorial areas. The upkeep at the Horsham St Faith site has struggled significantly, drawing complaints from funeral directors and visitors alike. They have featured in the EDP24, Facebook etc and are growing in number.
Has the Dignity Plc Board visited the site and seen the mess for themselves?
The whole shambles throws a very poor light on the Directors of Dignity Plc, the Castelnau Group and in particular CEO Zillah. Do they care, can they organise something as simple as on-site gardening from their 2024 £7.2M pre tax profits? - Seems not...

All the details were fully explained to me so I understood the different options. I was asked throughout if I had any questions and all my needs were taken into consideration. This will be the second time we have used this company as they are understanding, caring and supportive.

It was easy, and the lady was great to talk to, nothing was too much trouble and she offered us alternatives we hadn't known about, which we were really pleased with, including the payment plan, The whole experience wasn't rushed, we had time to discuss things, and we came away very happy.

Telephoned to make appointment to discuss funeral plans for myself and husband (hopefully not in the near future)
We were greeted by a very friendly lady who explained the plans. She was very helpful, answered all our questions so we decided there and then to sign up with Dignity.

Ross was kind and considerate, taking the time to explain things.
His friendly manner put me at ease and it was a pleasant experience, as opposed to the stress and anxiety of dealing with a funeral when you’ve just lost a loved one.
