Worth waiting for …

My item was on back order for quite a few months. I was updated constantly as to the progress of the stock arriving in Aus. Amazing service - the attention I was given - the service with sales people - amazing! Sometimes things are just out of stock - that’s life - but being updated and assured that I was not forgotten made me feel like I mattered. Thank you so much.

Finally a happening!

No actual follow-up to initial receipt of my email. Obviously very busy people in store, so I can see why they don't rate more than 3 stars to online requests.or emails - just too busy.

Finally I went into digi direct today (22 April) their Elizabeth St Melbourne and purchased a canon RF 24-70mm L lens but it was still pretty laid back in store but eventually someone did notice me

Excellent service

Excellent service. Hard to find Instax version, no problem. I like dropping in-store to pick up, but delivery is genuinely as fast.

DigiDirect are tops

I often purchase photography equipment from DigiDirect. In my experience their staff are knowledgeable and efficient in dealing with on-line orders and their prices are significantly lower than those of other photography retailers.

Manager/ senior staff was admirable

I was initially going to purchase my camera through another store but since I was in the area, I thought i’d try digidirect. The person who I was really impressed with is the senior male staff/ manager. He was very busy attending to other clients when I got there but he would stop and assist the young lady I was asking help from. They initially said no to matching sony’s online offer but since the manager was in close proximity he told the staff not to assume they know everything. So he matched sony’s offer for me. It was very pleasant and smooth transaction and my camera body was delivered on time.

Also, it was closing time and I needed to wait for my ride home. I was about to leave the premises when the manager stopped me and offered me to stay inside while I wait for my ride. I didn't know the area very well but he told me I can wait inside even after 4pm because he didn't want me to get robbed since I was carrying pricey gears. That level of care to customers is beyond! I didn't get his name sadly. But he was such a good human being. Thank you! May you be rewarded for being an exemplary employee.
Purchased sony products on the 29th of March.

Mark is the absolute best

Mark is the absolute best person to ever deal with at DigiDirect. He has been helping me for years and I cannot appreciate him enough. No matter what questions or concerns I have, he has the answers. Super friendly, very knowledgeable, always looking out for customers. I had good experience with digiD

I really want to buy one of the Fujifilm lens and only silver colour had a discount. I reached out to digiDirect and they included the black in the discount. I also went to the Melbourne store to test out a similar lens so I get to test out the speed of the autofocus and now it handled. Because they didn't have the act model in the store I proceeded to purchase it online and had free shipping. It came quick with constant update via Auspost. I would not hesitate to buy from them again!

Terrible service

I bought the camera and it was great. However there was a fault with it and since it was under warranty I sent it away . It has now been 6 months and I can’t seem to find out if it’s being repaired, under warranty or I have to pay ? I just want my camera back and will pay if I have to ? However the service is absolutely terrible, no transparency, keep getting emails asking the same thing, proof of purchase , proof of sending it down even though I supply this I hear nothing back . After calling all day someone even called me back and asked if I had two cameras as they could not match this one ? No ideas what they were talking about ? I tried to follow up on that phone call as it made no sense and could get no answers? I certainly don’t have two and am very much regretting buying one . Don’t get me wrong the camera is great but the service is a disservice.
