DFS Furniture - Exeter Reviews 

Had a lovely experience in Exeter DFS today ,was very friendly and helpfully . Helped me choose my new bed and mattress ,we always buy our sofa's from DFS and always had great experience . Thanks to Curtis for all his help today ,i can't wait to get my bed .

Fantastic service in the shop with Heather and then when home rang to order, Sean was extremely helpful and explained every thing extremely well.

Curt was personable and knowledgeable. However, it is frustrating that the exact combinations of fabrics and chairs that we preferred was not available, and a delivery lead time of 11 weeks appears excessive.

Matt and Sain (apologies if I have the spelling wrong) were the salespersons we dealt with,at no point did we feel any sales pressure, it took us several trips back and forth to choose the material and colour, and still not any pressure which is unusual, explained everything clearly. So we then placed our order, can't wait for them to come now.

The sales assistant was knowledgeable, attentive and efficient. Really good at her job. Everything was easy and step by step. We are excited about the product!!

Both Curtis and Marcus took time to be sure what I really wanted and were even able to lend me a colour swatch as they had a spare. It would have been very difficult without that.
My first experience of shopping at DFS and was very pleased.

Having read some poor reviews for the Exeter branch we were a little apprehensive about using it, we found the store clean and up together with friendly staff who while being helpful and welcoming were not pushy, Matt in particular stood out, he has worked 20 years at the store and this experience shows.
We are sure the items purchased will be as described and that delivery is smooth.

Every time we have come Into the store the service has been exceptional.

We didn't catch the chaps name but he was a delight and I hope you can ask in the store to identify him. My wife and I came in to the Exeter store near IKEA as we'd tried out the Patterdale a few times and love it but werent sure if it would fit through the door on our new house. He put us at ease immediately and explained how it would be delivered and then we sat and had a lovely chat through as we ordered the sofa with him. We felt so at home and couldn't have had a better purchasing experience. If we need another sofa, we'll be back. We purchased a green Patterdale 3 seater with Chaise end on Friday 17th July 2026 if that helps identify him as he deserves lots of praise.

Matt gave us all the time we needed, he was very understanding, this was a major purchase, he was excellent and would highly recommend him.

Heather is the assistant manager in the Exeter branch. She was great from start to finish, very knowledgeable about all of the products, quick to find out what we were after and to lead us to the best options which were not the most expensive options. Made us feel welcome with a coffee and allowed me to feed my newborn whilst she set everything up. I will definitely return here just because of the customer service.
