Great food.
When my girl was 6 months old she started not wanting to eat her kibble. She would take a bit and go lay down. At 8 months old she started having seizures. A lot of research and connecting gut health to seizures. I switched her to raw food. Now she is 3 1/2 and doing wonderful.

Good quality products, service call responded quickly and professionally.
Delivery’s are sometimes sketch, boxes blown out and dry ice completely melted so product has thawed 2x. Damaged boxes have caused leakage from fresh meats which nobody wants to deal with. But this is all delivery CO’s issues. Not Darwin’s.

Good results, but bad safety track record.
My dog actually did really well on this food after we tried a 20lb batch, and I had no issues with the food quality itself during our trial. However, after looking into their extensive history of FDA advisories, recalls, and ongoing legal/regulatory issues, I just don't feel comfortable taking the risk. While the food worked for us short-term, I won't be purchasing from them in the future due to safety concerns.

I love the product but…
I love the product but I did get a package that had gone bad. It was damaged and air got in so it made it go bad. I didn’t notice till I thawed it in the fridge. It smelled really bad. For the high price, I expected the meat to be handled more carefully.

Darwin's for life
I've been subscribing to Darwins since 2018 for my two Boxers. I've never had a problem and feel good knowing that I'm giving both of them the best food possible and they love me AND the food for it. I'd rather pay a little extra for their diet up front in order that they can stay healthy and to avoid any medical issues that may be caused by poor diet. i.e. kibble. And so far, after eight years of feeding them natural beef, and/or chicken, and/or turkey, it seems to be working.
