Recruitment Experience

I have recently been through the recruitment process with Dals, in order to collaborate with them as a Freelance Interpreter. I must say, so far, the experience has been delightful. Excellent employer

DALS is one of the best interpreting company that can be worked for. They are well organised and they know how to motivate their employees. You also have a good flexibility of your working time, as an interpreter, which is great. I am happy to be part of the DALS team.

Onboarding process

So far so good. It took long for my recruitment process due to the many documents I needed to collect, but dealing with Jenny made things easier. She is very professional and efficient. My overall experience with DA Languages…

My overall experience with DA Languages has been fine. The platform works well, and the assignments are generally smooth. However, the support could definitely be improved. It often takes several emails and follow-ups to get even minor issues resolved, which can be quite frustrating and time-consuming.

Additionally, there’s no clear guidance or support regarding which phone apps to use for virtual international numbers, which is important for interpreters working across borders. It would be helpful if DA Languages provided some official recommendations or technical solutions in that regard.

In short: the job itself is okay, but communication and support need work.

Extremely disappointed and offended

Extremely disappointed and offended by the attitude of their interpreter Mr. Azhar Ali who was brusque, rude, argumentative and extremely unprofessional. So much that we decided to dispense with his services. He initially refused to leave but did so eventually.
