I'm working for DALS since 2019

I'm working for DALS since 2019. Initially I didn't intend to turn this job into my main source of income but eventually it happenned. Can't complain about something significant. Yes, there are some issues such as not enough bookings or travel expenses are not fully covered. On the other hand, payments are always on time. If there are issues with payments (missed bookings or travel expenses) they are always resolved. A big thanks to Cosmin Parvu for providing a great support with DBS service.

I was working with Dals over 5 years

I was working with Dals over 5 years, suddenly I received an email saying my contract been terminated without any explanations, any contact with myself. I emailed them back asking for clarification, still waiting for it.

Not the best company to work, never lets you know if the booking is cancelled, to get in touch with customer service it’s impossible.

If you cancel your job, they blame you, not even trying to help and ask what’s going on.

Shame on you Dals.

If I can give 10 yes I will , they provide the best service, they are quick in there response , and they dealt with the request quick and swiftly, either by email /phone , i have been dealing with Bianca what a wonderful lady in solving my request very swiftly . Great experience for recently qualified interpreters

The recruitment process is quite demanding and you need to get together a few documents and pass a (relatively simple) language test before you can get started, but communication was excellent throughout the entire process and I felt very supported. As others have mentioned, the pay is pretty low considering the skillset, but it's a great jumping-off point for those who are qualified but still gaining experience.

I was assisted by Ioana, who was very clear and helpful in our email and phone communication. She responded quickly and got back to me regarding all my queries. I've been working as an interpreter for a couple of weeks now with no shortage of jobs whenever I'm available, and am finding the calls stimulating and interesting. Thank you for all your help, Ioana!

regarding the recruiting process as an interpreter.

I applied for this freelancing job and I had no idea how to move forward as their application is so long and complicated, it took me a one whole month for me to gather everything and start as an interpreter.
But thanks to Andreea Prodan/Recruiter.
She was very friendly and calm person.
She helped me with each and every step and informed me with every details. I would go through much more obstacles if it wasnt her. And about the work, I am loving it and this company values their employees and also the independent workers. I wish to be with them for a very long time.

Review of DAL Agency (formerly D.A. Interpreting)

I worked with this agency for 15 years and feel compelled to share my experience. DAL Agency, which used to be called D.A. Interpreting before rebranding ( many lawsuits) has gone downhill over the years.

The company is plagued with unethical practices:
• They often mislead clients rather than admit they cannot provide an interpreter, especially if they don’t see enough profit in the booking.
• Integrity is absent at every level—lying to clients and interpreters seems to be standard practice.
• I personally witnessed discrimination within the company, raised a formal complaint, and yet no investigation was carried out. Instead, I found myself suddenly stopped from receiving bookings.
• The supposedly “positive” reviews online don’t reflect the reality. From my experience, many of these good reviews appear to be fabricated or written by people paid to boost the company’s image.

High staff turnover speaks volumes. People with integrity quickly leave. It also appears that much of their work is outsourced abroad, further reducing quality and reliability.

They show no real consideration for patients, clients, or their specific requests. The system is faulty, communication is poor, and accountability is nonexistent.

After 15 years of loyal service, despite my extensive experience and fluency in five languages, I cannot in good conscience continue working with them. It has become a bad reflection on me as a professional, and unfortunately, the situation only seems to get worse.

In my view, there is nothing positive to say about DAL Agency.
