One star is being kind to this company…

One star is being kind to this company who just want a sale. ‘GED’ visited my 68 year old learning disabled brother whilst he was alone, spent in excess of four hours with him in his bedroom where my brother was told to replicate his sleeping movements and subsequently massaged with an electric device. He was left traumatised by this, but fortunately did not buy a bed. When I called to complain, a manager was dis-interested but gave me an address to complain to. Needless to say I have heard nothing having put my complaint in words. Please don’t buy a bed from a company that takes advantage of vulnerable people.

Due to the nature of the products we sell we regularly come into contact with consumers who have characteristics or drivers of vulnerability. Our team are trained how to detect and to protect those customers that either do not have capacity and or who are so vulnerable that we ought not to trade with them. On the other hand we are unable to discriminate against any person due to any protected characteristic, what matters is the care and the systems we have in place to protect those consumers. Had our comformatic dual mmattress bed…

Had our comformatic dual mattress bed for three years. Both our backs are back to normal with help from the massage element incorporated.
Best investment we have ever made.

Despicable sales techniques

High pressure sales - 7 hour visit from ‘Alan’ including him taking my mother in law’s phone to do a bank transfer for a deposit because her bank kept trying to prevent the transaction due to fraud markers. Despicable sales practices on a vulnerable 82 year old woman who was promised a cure to all her ailments and given no time to think. Do NOT let them in to your house.

Dear Sera, we are sorry that you believe that your mother in laws experience was as described. Dealing first with a fraud alert during the processing of a card payment. From time to time card issuers security systems will alert to check an unusual payment. This is something that happens to all of us at one time or another and cannot be interpreted as an indication that the. Business itself is in some way being fraudulent. We get very very few transactions triggering fraud alerts and when they do, it is usually dealt with promptly by the card issuer and the transaction is then processed. In terms of the rest of your comments as you know we have reached out to you and are currently investigating your concerns, we will respond once that investigation is completed.

You will never get your money back

Sales person wasn’t bothered about my opinion. As a result, I got a bed that is absolutely not suitable for several thousands it cost. The next day after delivery, I contacted the service and asked to return the bed and return the money. I have call and emailed for 3 weeks and no results.The customer service constantly says that they don’t have available slots, there are no staff who seem to be available to help or be responsible for this etc.

Recliner Chair

I had my recliner chair serviced recently. The engineer Mikey was excellent. My chair was checked thoroughly & Mikey answered any questions I had however small. Great person & experienced Company.
Good experience all round and if I have anymore questions I know the number to ring.

Good for people with mobility issues

Service on chair went very well. Helpful agent who left a cleaning kit.
As for Comformatic itself, we were sold a chair that they said had an inbuilt pressure cushion ( it does not ! ) and although we said my husband would be using it up to 24/7 the instructions basically said not to use it as a bed. When we tried to get it cleaned they were not helpful.
So, good experience today but in the past they have not been good giving us information to get it cleaned.

Received delivery of my new chair today…

Received delivery of my new chair today and I am very impressed by the courtesy and service of delivery.I am looking forward to taking it for a test drive and I am sure I will be highly delighted after the delivery driver assembled the chair and showed me how to use all the controls. The sales rep was very helpful in explaining how the chair works and all the benefits I could gain from using the chair,and now I have delivery of it he was completely correct and I am sure I will have lots of them.
