Reliable and competitive rates
I found Celtic Legend to be very reliable and honest about their charges. The process for hiring can be tedious, but they did their best to simplify things. Their rates are competitive and the car provided was virtually new. All in all a good experience. One thing to bear in mind: purchase waiver of excess to give peace of mind.

Legendary Service with a smile.
From start to finish, the experience with Celtic Legend was legendary! The cherry on top was the extra mile they went for us when our flight was delayed, and we missed our connecting flight to Inverness. This put us 4 hours past their closing. When we called to ask for suggestions, they briefly put us on hold and asked if anyone was willing to stay and deliver our vehicle to the airport. One young man agreed. He met us at the Inverness Airport with our vehicle around 10:30 pm, and he was super nice. Unfortunately, after about 30 hours without sleep, we did not get his name. My only regret is that we didn't tip him more! We highly recommend Celtic Legend!

Great car hire experience from beginning to end. Efficient, proactive booking by Celtic Legend - couldn’t have been better. A list to and from the pick up and drop off site was also arranged at no cost. The car was supplied by Arnold Clarke whose staff were friendly and professional and the office space clean and comfortable. The SUV car was brilliant and being a hybrid we did 500 miles for £50. I’m not often impressed by service but this was truly exceptional, problem free and relaxing - couldn’t have been better.

I recently rented a car through Celtic Legend and I couldn’t be happier with the experience!
The service was great from start to finish. Booking the car was super easy, and there were no hidden fees or any pushy sales tactics for extra insurance when picking up the car—which I really appreciated.
The staff were very kind and helpful, both over email and in person when I picked up the car. The vehicle itself was like new, modern, and spotlessly clean inside and out. We’d requested a larger car for comfort and luggage space, and that’s exactly what we got.
Honestly, I was a bit sceptical at first, wondering if all those glowing Google reviews were too good to be true—but now I can say the high ratings are definitely well deserved.
I’d absolutely book with Celtic Legend again on my next trip to Scotland, and I’d happily recommend them to friends or anyone else looking for a reliable car rental. Keep up the good work!

A professional car rental company
We had read many reviews about hiring a car in Scotland before our trip and many of them had us feeling somewhat anxious about the experience.
Celtic Legend appeared to be the most favoured and with good reason. Pre-arrival communication was excellent and overall this was a no hassle rental for us.
Pick up admin was easy and we were provided with a Nissan Juke with only 7 miles on it.
There is a yellow Arnold Clark sticker on the back windscreen and it was surprising as we drove around how many others we saw.
Drop off was also easy.
I can highly recommend Celtic Legend as a car rental company.

Great experience, easy pickup, the customer service rep explained everything to us and got us on our way. Drop off was equally as easy and fast van ride to the airport.

GREAT Car Rental experience in Scotland!
During the planning of a trip to Scotland, Celtic Legend calmed the nerves about a car hire (rental) across the 'pond'. EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION! Answered any questions (email) within a couple hours. Great rates far beyond what my "normal" car rental options. The car was clean, very few miles, and was perfect for our small group of five, plus luggage!

Money grabbers.
They need to train their staff better when it comes to assisting foreign nationals regarding toll charges. No explanation as to how these charges were to be paid. When confronted, they blamed the UK government. No empathy, no responsibility taken. Poorest customer service experience ever.
