Staff at Drivalia Sheffield ( Mr Maaroof) are pleasant and helpful. He personally directed me to the office when I couldn't find my way. They provide cars of good quality at competitive prices. I fully recommend Drivalia Sheffield to customers.
Use this company at least 6 times a year without any trouble. Good prices, reliable service and clean cars. Have a car booked from the 20 th October in my name but fell and fractured wrist so have asked if main driver could be swapped over to husband This request was done instantly. Great company
I have had two car rentals recently from Drivalia at Leeds Bradford Airport. The first was sorted by Billy, and the second time a few weeks later by Niz, I can honestly say that these two guys are extremely helpful and go out of their way to make sure things run smoothly and all your needs are met. Thanks to these guys we no longer get stressed out about renting and being ripped off, they made it an enjoyable experience and we will now use no-one else. Niz sorted out the mistake I made when renting as I had put the wrong return date and also I needed to drop car at Manchester, he sorted it in 5 minutes, now that's good customer servi !!! Well done drivalia!
Online booking and choice was very good and when having to change the booking requirement at the last minute, it was handled in minutes. Very impressed.
Excelent communication before the drop off at my house and when picking up a week later. The delivery and pick up driver Karl was really good to deal with.

Charged £500 for a windscreen chip at Heathrow. Refused to provide a third-party garage repair invoice. Bank has initiated a credit card chargeback. Avoid unless you take timestamped photos of every inch of the car. They use a chip hidden under wiper scam.

Awful company. Booked with car jet (another awful company) and was told when I collected the car that the insurance I had from car jet was no use and that I’d have to pay another £300 for their insurance!! None of this is clear until you collect the car ! I was fleeced out of £600 to rent a car for 12 days .
Steer clear

I had a very disappointing experience with Drivalia at Gatwick North.
My flight was slightly delayed and I arrived at the rental desk just 1 hour and 5 minutes after my scheduled pick-up time, only to be told that my booking had been automatically cancelled because I was more than an hour late.
What was particularly frustrating was that, instead of honouring the booking, I was quoted around £250 to rent the same vehicle for the same four-day period, compared to the £69 I had originally booked. I declined, but it left me questioning whether the strict one-hour cancellation rule serves as a way of generating higher last-minute charges from customers who have little choice but to accept.
Airport delays are a fact of life. Flights, baggage reclaim and airport security regularly cause delays that are outside a traveller's control. In my case, Drivalia had my flight details, so it would have been reasonable to expect some flexibility. There is also the possibility of queuing at the rental desk itself. On a previous Drivalia rental, I waited around 15 minutes to be served, meaning a customer could potentially lose their booking while simply waiting in line.
The one-hour cut-off appears to be buried deep within the terms and conditions. It was not clearly highlighted on my booking voucher, nor was it made obvious when I booked through a third-party broker. I also noticed that customers are required to confirm they have had no "at-fault" insurance claims within the past five years, another condition that is not prominently explained during the booking process and could easily catch people out.
This is particularly disappointing because Drivalia's location is convenient for Gatwick North and its headline prices are very competitive. I would happily have become a regular customer, potentially using them monthly. Unfortunately, the lack of flexibility and the unexpected conditions have left me with the impression that the low advertised prices may be offset by policies that can result in significantly higher charges when problems arise.
Overall, I would advise anyone booking with Drivalia to read every term and condition carefully and be aware that arriving just over an hour late, even due to unavoidable airport delays, could result in your booking being cancelled and a substantially higher price being offered.

Arrived at Edinburgh airport. The instructions were to phone Drivalia and ask them to send the bus to collect and take to the car hire centre.Phoned several times. No answer. I then looked for Stance 7 where the bus would arrive. It isn't called Stance, it is just called bus stop 7 !!
The bus arrived and i was taken to Drivalia. There was just me and one other customer and 4 members of staff.I was given a buzzer to tell me when they would see me.25 minutes passed and i made it clear i was stiil there but didnt make a fuss. The phone rang many times and on most occasions the staff did not answer. The one time they did they gave a rather gruff response to someone who was phoning asking where the bus was.At last,my buzzer goes off. I am given 2 surprises. The first that because i was returning the car to a different location i had to pay extra. The second was that i had limited mileage and i had to pay extra if i were going to do more miles.Neither was made clear on booking. Then, they actually decide that they will get my allusive car !! The man set off to get it and was gone for ages. I asked where he was and they said he was cleaning it !! At last, i was on my way but to put it in perspective,it took as long to get the car as the flight from London to Edinburgh !! Massively frustrating and no apologies,no communication and lastly, what were they all doing ? Goodness knows how they would cope if they had more than 2 customers at a time. DO NOT USE THIS CAR HIRE COMPANY !!!!!!

My recent experience with Drivalia UK was extremely disappointing, and I feel compelled to warn potential customers.
I booked a vehicle online with Drivalia, using my physical Irish Revolut Visa credit card, and received a confirmation email with my reference number instructing me to bring that specific card along with my Irish driver's license.
Upon arriving at the rental counter with my family, my driver's license and passport were accepted without issue. However, the staff member informed me that they could not accept my Revolut credit card—despite it being the card used to secure the online reservation. I have used this exact card across the UK and Europe for previous car rentals without any issues.
The staff stated that unless I purchased their highest-tier excess insurance policy, the vehicle would not be released to me. Because this insurance cost more than the car rental itself, I declined. I escalated the matter to the onsite manager and customer service, who assured me a refund request had been submitted. Unsurprisingly, that refund has never materialised.
Fortunately, I walked over to Alamo at Gatwick, where I booked a car using the exact same Revolut credit card with zero issues. Given this frustrating ordeal and lack of follow-through on the refund, I strongly advise others to avoid Drivalia.

I have been using this company every year to book cars for my colleague. I usually contact them and I get an offer from them directly. This year I got an offer more adapted to my needs and saved money that way while having the maximum coverage for my rentals.
I get exactly everything which is needed to book and to get an easy pick up of the car, so everything can be made ready before to arrive there.
I also like that I can get everything paid straight from the company and there is no need for the employee to pay and get reimbursed after. The payment link is very practical.

Great service and very quickly answered all my questions and change the reservation. Highly recommended.

We booked a jeep and were given an awful Geely Chinese hybrid that was so annoying to drive with constant beeping and weird controls.
The car was scraped and dirty inside which made it difficult to see out when the sun was shining.
Pick up was fine but no instructions how to operate the car.
Drop off was slow with inadequate parking and a long wait.
We spoke to another guy dropping off who’s car broke down 4 times in one week and no working windscreen wipers - dangerous.
Expensive to add a second driver.
I would not use them again or recommend this company.
