The worst experience ever
The worst experience ever. Save yourself a lot of trouble and book directly with rental companies.
Almost had to cancel my trip due to unprofessionalism of Carigami. Managed to save my trip, but after spending 2 times more money than told by Carigami at first, and hours on the phone and with the rental company.
Let me explain all the pain I suffered:
I paid Carigami with my debit card on their site. Then I realized I could not get the car without a credit card, when I double checked a day before. I wasn't told that by Carigami, and they accepted my debit card to pay (pain #1). Then when calling Carigami, I was told there was nothing that could be done, and that they could not refund me because it was 23 hours before the booking, even though it's their fault (pain #2). Finally I found a way, changing of driver to the name of the passenger going with me having both a credit card and driving license: If I had listened to Carigami on the phone I would have cancelled without knowing this possibility. (Pain #3)
Finally: the worst. The insurance I bought on the Carigami website said I would be insured for all incidents. Happened to be wrong, and had to pay 25 euros per day extra at the rental company. (Pain #4)
