Still told items will be 5/7 working days.
I'm now complaining to Which and Good Housekeeping as they use their recommendation badges and trading standards will be next . TOTAL joke

I purchased my capsule halo cleaner which I wasn't overly impressed with but 6 months later the floor unit stopped working, I called them after trying all the usual trouble shooting things and was told I'd be emailed a list of things to do which I was, it was exactly the same as the things I'd already tried which I'd already told the customer service lady, she said my footplate was broken, I'd get a replacement part in 7-10 days that was Dec 16th, I waited, nothing arrived, I called again and was told eventually it hadn't even been sent out that was mid January, I emailed as they say it's the quickest way to get a response, no reply, I phoned again, told same things, the manager said I'd receive it with 6free dust bags in that same week, well 2 weeks on still nothing, so I've been without as far as they know for 8 weeks, absolutely disgusting after sales service, DON'T bother with halo.

If there was a zero star thats what i would choose. This company is just damn right rude and hide behind emails cos they certainly dont answer the phone. I sent an email regarding my faulty hoover - there IVR message states its quicker to email. Well 2 days later and 3 hours of trying to call i spoke to a human who just read a script. I sent the necessary photo and video of my broken hoover head. Not heard a thing since and have tried to call multiple times and sent follow up emails. Had to purchase another hoover cos i cannot be without one. Last time i had a issue it took 3 months for them to reply only to be told the item was still out of stock. Guess i should have learned and not brought another one from them. When the unit works it works well its just when it doesnt is the issue. DO NOT PURCHASE buy another brand

After just over a year the main brush head broke. As it was still under the guarantee I contacted the company. I have still had no response after several emails. One of the reasons I bought it was because of the 2 year guarantee. I wish I'd bought a different one now and would not recommend this company at all.
I have now received a response from Halo capsule via Trustpilot (see their response below) and been asked to provide further details. This is after approximately 6 months when I first contacted them about the problem. I have provided details, expecting them to deal with it straight away but I still have had no contact from them. Very disappointing.
UPDATED REVIEW 30 APRIL2026
It is now over a week since Halo replied to my review on Trustpilot and I was asked to provide my name, email address and phone number. I provided these straight away. The only information I didn't supply was a reference number as I wasn't sure what they needed for this but now they had my contact details they could easily contact me about this. In case they happen to read this - the reference number on my order form is 49257.
Halo said in their Trustpilot response that once they received my reply they would deal with my case as a priority.
I am very disappointed that they haven't done this and have just ignored my response. I am left with an expensive defective vacuum cleaner that only partially works. I cannot therefore alter my Trustpilot rating and would give it a minus rating if this was possible.

Why didn’t I read the reviews before ordering a Halo cleaner?
After reading that Which recommended it and that Good Houskeeping also said it was a good buy I ordered one 10 January, today after hearing nothing I rang and got the usual recorded message, finally spoke to someone who said there was a delay in despatch, I have asked for a refund which they say will be done immediately, but my bank may take 5 days to refund I will this afternoon be doing a charge back on my credit card.
Do not fall for this Company and Which should not be believed either.

Customer service is non existent. Halo part breaking after two years, ordered spare parts, nothing arrived, no answer to emails, can’t get through on the phone. I would avoid and buy elsewhere to avoid these issues.

I've had my Halo Capsule for two years and love it. I had a faulty battery a year ago, which they replaced without issue after I sent a video. In December, I had another battery failure. I emailed the original invoice order email address and was told they didn't recognise my order number. I replied to the address that sent the original invoice - still no joy. I then emailed Halo Capsule customer service, no reply. Now, in January, I called them, and they replied they couldn't find my emails and that I was out of warranty!! I love this vacuum cleaner, it's really good, so it's such a shame their customer service is so bad.

It did not supirse me to see the shockingly bad reviews for this company. I have sent 4 separate emails over a 2-month period, and additionally spent up to an hour on hold over 3 phone calls to try and speak with someone at this company - still no luck. What an embarrassment they are.

I was after a light weight, effective, cordless vacuum and have been disappointed with previous makes for various reasons. My Halo CapsuleX arrived today, a month after I ordered it. I was advised by email 3 weeks after ordering that it would be late. The email was polite and offered me a 25% discount on future pouch purchases, which I reckoned was pretty fair. While I was waiting for it to charge, I read the Reviews and instantly regretted my purchase! Nevertheless, after charging I put it all together and didn't hold my breath. Well, I have to say I am delighted. Its light, easy to us and gets up my dogs hair pretty well. Crucially - and this marks it out from the Shark, G-Tech and Dysons I have previously owned, it reaches deep under low lying furniture like beds to remove all the accumulated fluff. I love all the tools too - worked well on the stairs. My only gripe (otherwise would have had 5 stars) is that the mini brush roller doesn't appear to be rotating. Maybe it's not meant to? Anyway I'll investigate that further tomorrow.
My initial review was: Product not delivered and they neither answer emails or their phone. Absolute disgrace.
Ordered via phone 31/12 didn't get confirmation. Sales told me they could not help and go to service line. Which never answers phone or email.
I suspect this is a scam.
BUT THEN
A week later without any warning the product arrived but no paperwork, no receipt, no proof of purchase. I emailed 3 times and got no reply so I disputed the payment. While the dispute was going on I found the CEOs email and said "I will pay if you simply send me proof I bought it for warranty". No reply, no acknowledgement, no thank you. But customer service emailed me and asked me to pay - no reference to my problems. Eventually got the paperwork and paid.
As for the product. It's great. A bit top heavy so I wouldn't want to use it to do the whole house in one go but for doing one room it's great.
Final judgment: service is a disgrace, product is good. Sorry can't recommend cos if you have a problem you will never get it sorted.
Terrible, the actual hoover took 3 months to arrive, then there were no bags with it, they said they would send more, noting turned up, can't get an answer on phone or on email, company is absolutely usless.

I already have the original Halo and because that was amazing I brought the Halo X in September 25.
It's awful, the anti hair wrap is non existent, the suction is poor compared to the original Halo.
The tools look innovative but the reality is different. The hard floor tool picks up nothing, the small roller brush is pretty useless as well. The tools on the whole are awkward to use given the extra weight of the battery, it's very unbalanced in your hand.
This Halo X is not a patch on the original, I really wished I hadn't brought it.
Don't waste your money on the Halo X. Not worth the price and definitely does not live up to the hype.

Ordered some replacement bags on 16 October. The money was taken the same day but the bags were not dispatched and, of course, never arrived. Phone never answered. No response to emails. Customer service non-existent. Avoid.

Ordered and arrived later than notified but my problem is that the brush after 1 year has broken even though its only used to get used once a week. Contacted their customer service via their website and no response. I haven’t even had an acknowledgment

My experience was very positive.The Halo was delivered promptly considering it was over a holiday period,ordered New Years Day delivered on the 6th.
Very well made and a very impressive performance,far better than the Dyson it replaces.
If there is a negative it is the lack of communication, apart from that I highly recommend the Halo,very impressed!
Ordered hoover bags a month ago. Money taken. Haven’t received my bags, zero communication from them. Tried emails and “contact us” form. No response from them. This has to be the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’ve ever dealt with and I’m no spring chicken, as the saying goes.
Surely this company can’t get away with such appalling behaviour!!!!!!
Update as at 22 April 2026....after writing this review I happened to receive the hoover bags about a week or so later, which I was delighted about. However my previous review stands as I think they're customer service was appalling. They should have at least had some communication with me.
