Product arrived as described, delivery was on time and I was kept updated throughout the process and on the day of delivery. Jason took care during the delivery and was polite and courteous. A good company to do business with.

Jason really friendly and helpful . Put the delivery in the garage for me which really helped.

Bought a Bramblecrest Truro cantilever parasol only two weeks ago at a cost of over £629 due to the heatwave in the uk at present.

The manufacturer boasts wind resistance of 35-38mph at Beaufort scale 7.

However….Breezes of no more than 8mph in my vicinity cause the whole parasol to sway violently in the wind despite following their ‘advice’ and purchasing the matching steel and granite base which weights 120kg at a further cost of £279.

I’ve only been able to safely use it once in that whole time.

Despite sending videos via email - one where the whole parasol moves across my patio and is unsafe to use, Cambridge Home and Garden are refusing to accept that there could be a fault and they also say that this is normal.

It’s not only abnormal CHG, it is downright dangerous! I should not feel unsafe sitting underneath this £900 setup.

Please uplift the goods and provide me with my refund. I’m prepared to take this as far as I need to go - £900 is too expensive for a garden ornament that I cannot use!

Addition:
They have responded and they claim below that only one video has been sent to their team but actually I’ve sent two. It’s NOT normal movement for the parasol to launch itself across my patio in 8mph winds and make me feel unsafe sitting underneath it! Get a grip CHG

Dear reader ask yourself this….

Within two weeks of receiving the item I carefully researched and purchased, why would I be bothered sending emails and videos by way of complaint, of normal cantilever parasol movement and asking for a refund when I very much need a parasol at the moment? This response by the company is laughable and frankly insulting. It’s a response for response’s sake and doesn’t address the fact that as per my consumer rights I reject the goods and would like a refund.

We only ordered the pergola yesterday, last night we received notice it was being delivered today!
We were kept informed of an approximate delivery time with a text message giving us an exact time an hour before delivery.
Jason and his colleague arrived on time. They carried the boxes into our garden and were polite and friendly. Delivery service excellent. Thank you Cambridge Home and Garden.
I’ll make a further review once my pergola is built.

Arrived without damage all working ok

Order turned up exactly as expected and Jason was very helpful in getting the large, heavy parasol base to its position.

Our large garden umbrella was delivered promptly and place in the garden where we indicated. We are very pleased with the quality of the umbrella and the shade it enables especially in this humid weather.

After a couple of days searching the web for the best price and reliable companies, I made my purchase of a Belfort 3 x 4 aluminium pergola with Cambridge Home and Garden.
I found the website very easy to navigate.
I also used the live chat that was really helpful.
Got a price match and decided to call to place the order.
How reassuring for me that the staff member was aware of who I was from the live chat 👍🏼
So I wasn’t just speaking to a robot 👌🏼👌🏼
