I was ripped off by fake agency member on WhatsApp. From
What was supposed to just be a quote turned into booked flight with incorrect dates. Budget air would not offer any kind of cancellation even though I called them the same day.

The booking process was smooth. The pricing was competitive. All the relevant information related to the flights were provided. No hidden fees or requirements. The eTickets were emailed almost immediately even though provision for up to 4 days was stated.

- Conditions for changing and cancelation not clear and obvious enough.
--- MAJOR ISSUE: Absence of a 24-hr cancellation policy, which I believe to be legally mandatory both in the US and Europe.

One of the worst ticketing websites I have ever dealt with.

I understand that some bookings are non-refundable if the customer voluntarily cancels the flight. However, this was not a customer cancellation. The airline cancelled the flight due to the war situation in the Middle East and had already processed the refund to Budgetair.

After more than two months of constant follow-ups, Budgetair finally confirmed that my refund would be processed within 10 business days. It has now been 30 business days, and I still have not received my money.

The lack of transparency, poor communication, and failure to honor their own commitment is completely unacceptable. Customers should not have to chase their own money for months after the airline has already refunded the ticket.

I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking through Budgetair unless they are prepared to deal with extremely poor customer service and unnecessary delays in receiving legitimate refunds. Further to this review, this is a message from the airline confirming that the schedule was disrupted and flights were cancelled. The renewed or updated flight tickets were not shared by budgetair to us due to which the senior citizens travelling in this flight were stranded in Mumbai airport.

Also, I have again received an email from budgetair that the details which I have provided already since past 2 months are insufficient dispute receiving a refund confirmation from budgetair on 25/06/2026

good price and easy simple process thank you

I used to book with Budget Air all the time and was happy, but a tiny mistake cost me $77. I booked tickets for October instead of August and was planning to rebook immediately after cancelling. Never again!!!! A customer service representative with an emotionless voice informed me that there is a cost of $77 to fix my mistake.

I realized I had the wrong departure airport selected 5 minutes after payment. They refused to cancel it since they are not bound by law for allow cancellations for 24 hrs since they are a third party. Disgusting.

The worst place to buy a ticket they cancel my flight. They didn’t send me any updates on email also they didn’t update the cancellation on Budgit Air account. I called to get another flight. They say we don’t do that and they give me a refund and they deduct the cancellation fee and some other hidden fees so my tickets was five tickets for me and my family and I got to spend almost $2000additional to get another five tickets because it was a season one I found that they canceled it, Communication was very bad agents They not professional and didn’t even speak. The basic Englishand processing was very slow never ever buy ticket from this place even if it’s for free.

Good price. Fast confirmation of tickets. A bit tedious getting past all the attempts to upsell unwanted extras.

Don’t use this booking site! It took a month to get my issue resolved. Their customer service is terrible. Dealing with them nearly gave me a nervous breakdown. Never again!!
