Lots of miles to get hearing aids
My whole experience has been really good with audiologists. But having to drive all the way to Derby to get a Saturday appointment has not been great. 40 mile round trip, then when I’ve paid for the hearing aids, they were faulty, so three weeks later the only appointment I can get is a Monday evening again in Derby. That’s 120 miles and a lot of money to hopefully get a working pair.

The audiologist was very thorough and…An introduction to hearing aids
The audiologist was very thorough and explained everything to a level that I fully comprehended.
Although I was very surprised just how much the hearing aids were going to cost , all the advantages and disadvantages of all the hearing aids was presented to me in a totally unbiased way, with the decision being left to me to decide which to purchase.
The whole experience was unhurried and informative both to what was currently happening and what would happen in the future.This was undertaken in a kind and courteous manner.

Hearing test
A well constructed hearing test with plenty of opportunities to discuss with Kamran the audiologist who was a really nice/kind man. I had been recommended by a friend who had also had a good service from Boots and following my visit I would also recommend Boots.

I have put off having a hearing test for a lot longer than I should have done because I was concerned about what would happen & if it would benefit me. I needn’t have worried. My initial hearing test was painless & carried out very efficiently. My appointment with the audiologist, Kamran was equally professional. Kamran explained everything clearly & answered my questions. I was very impressed & would recommend this service.
