Absolutely useless customer service
Absolutely useless customer service. If they actually used some of the money they spend on Ai bots to just provide a better service we would all be better off. They have gone to the extreme when Kai the “Ai bot” eventually admits defeat and puts you through to a human, Connor I believe the name is, who is also a “Ai bot” desperately trying to pretend to be human but is useless, I’ve been told nothing but lies for the last month about my refund. Still not received it although Kai assures me it’s definitely still on its way to their factory. I’m not sure what DPD use for transport these days but that was 5 weeks ago. 🤷🏼. Don’t waste your time with these clowns

Horrible sorry but the clothes look nothing like the pictures, there is a reason you don’t see reviews underneath the stuff that the sell because it’s horrible. Also I got dirty clothes?? When I reported it they claimed the can’t give a full refund if you worn the shirt but I didn’t wear the shirt?? They gave it to me dirty. And when you want to return your clothes you don’t get all your money back you have to pay 6 euros for shipping only. While when you buy stuff the standard shipping price is 3,99, it doesn’t matter the what amount you spent. They are money hungry and not justified because the clothes suck!
Horrendous customer service, a scam
First time customer, I made an online purchase using Klarna. I didn't like the products and made the return. My refund instead of going through to the original payment method for some reason has gone to gift card or so these people are saying. I never selected that. There was not even an option for me to do so. I've tried talking to them, it's endless chats with bots. It seems like they are forcing gift cards on people. Moreover, when they receive negative comments on social media, they delete it to manage their good reputation.

I ordered a pair of shoes express delivery for a funeral. I was careful to check they would be with me in time, which according to the check out page they would be. The shoes never arrived and it’s now been over a week and still no update. I have contacted customer service which was no help, the ai bot said I should wait for a delayed response and if I message again it will push my response time back. I would like a refund!

A month ago I tried to log onto my Boohoo account, having only logged on a few days before but my password wouldn't work. I clicked the reset password button and no email arrived, I tried several times, checking spam ans junk, tried from a laptop, android and I phone with no luck. I emailed customer service who came back about 72 hours later with some questions which I answer, prompting a generic reply staying they have received my complaint and will contact me in 48 hours. 2 days later they emailed, asking what exactly the issues was ( highlighted in my orginal email) and I explained again. Prompting the generic response again and then 48 hours later another email asking me the exact same questions the orginal email asked! I duly replied and again highlighted that as I had paid for a year's delivery that I could not use the website as if I try to order I cannot log on and hence have to pay for delivery. I have now tried 37 times to log on. I have 17 emails back and forth with every 3rd or 4th repeating the orginal questions. This is appalling customer service.

Total waste of space company.I was offered premier for £6.99 when I tried to place an order,once in the basket it was showing £9.99.I contacted Boohoo straight away with at least 10 messages backwards and forwards wasting time to be told after 4 days they can’t honor the price.The customer service is absolutely diabolical and do not have a clue what they are on about.I would now like to complain !!
Worst company at refunding
Worst company at refunding. They’ve the return over two weeks yet still chasing for MY money back. They just fob you off. Maybe they’re hoping I’ll forget they owe me and then they just keep it. Not a chance!
“Seel proof” protection charge
I used Klarna to make a purchase as it’s for a special occasion so I had multiple options unfortunately none were suitable. I can still see £13.33 owed I queried with boohoo as their return fee is £1.99 and delivery £3.99 I was then told I had purchased a “seel protection delivery” which is something they automatically put on and you now have to uncheck before checking out. It’s easily missed and in my opinion that’s done on purpose as a way to make additional money. Customer service kept brushing over what I was trying to say and not directly referring to my issue they told me the seel protection was 2 different costs 1 said £10.90 then another £7 they would not address the problem and just said it’s non refundable.
Be aware of this charge and don’t expect help from customer service. Avoid
I’m beyond disappointed
They sent me the wrong pair of shoes and returning them has been the biggest headache of my life. I decided to send a few items back with the shoes, and they made me pay the $15 return fee that they otherwise would have had to pay anyway! I emailed them telling them this is horrible customer service. I have shopped with them for over 10 years, spending thousands of dollars and the one time I ask them to show some goodwill, they say no. It’s hardly even ‘goodwill’ as they got away with making ME pay for the incorrect item too. Not to mention, now they’re saying they can’t even find the returned items.. so I’m at a $150 loss now, as they’re asking me to prove that I sent the item back. Even though they have MULTIPLE emails of me complaining about the return fee (proving that the package has been sent). I have also provided them with the postal receipt and items names/numbers multiple times, yet they continue to ask me for this information. Not only am I doing their job for them, at this point I don’t even know if I’m going to get my money back. I may as well have kept the items!! Such a joke. I will NEVER shop from this site again. I don’t care how great their sales are. Customer service still matters. Good luck to them.
Can’t return to one place, have to use multiple delivery services
There was no indication that my items would come in multiple parcels from different delivery providers and sent by different companies, it means I now have to do multiple returns to different places.
One of which is really confusing, on boohoo it led me to Royal Mail to book a return but the return slip in the package says to return directly to the supplier and through Evri. So now I’m going to have to waste my time on live chat to sort this out on my break.
Not impressed. Really put me off of ordering again. Also, the main reason I ordered again was because my last returns I accidentally clicked for a voucher! And I can’t even find anything I want. I did a massive order and kept one thing, a vest top!
If I’d known about the difficult returns I would not have ordered those items. I’m really not happy with this at all. Complete waste of my time and every item bar one wasn’t any good. Some had horrible material.

Mammoth return charges!!
Boohoo have somehow managed to turn the simple act of returning an item into a masterclass in daylight robbery. You order clothes, they don’t fit, you send them back — fair enough. But then the real performance begins. Delivery charges, return charges, and then mysterious “additional charges” slapped on top like some backstreet accountant making it up as they go along.
Over £20 gone. Vanished. And for what exactly? Nobody at Boohoo seems capable of explaining where these extra costs even come from. You ask for clarification and get the corporate equivalent of shrugging shoulders and hiding behind templated emails. It’s like dealing with a bookmaker after a dodgy VAR decision — all confidence when taking your money, complete silence when asked to justify it.
The whole thing feels deliberately opaque. They lure people in with cheap prices, then claw the money back through hidden charges and disgraceful customer service. If this is their idea of “customer care,” they may as well just put a sign on the website saying: “Thanks for your money — now good luck getting any of it back.”
Absolute shambles of a company. Avoid if you value transparency, fairness, or basic respect as a customer.
Return issues solved
I was having issues with using the return portal for one of my returns and also with reporting items missing from may order. The operator over the messaging service, Cory, helped me an extensive amount, creating my return over message for me whilst clearly laying out what details he needed and efficiently getting me my barcode for the return.

What a terrible way to do customer services. As someone that works in this area is it impossible to sort an issue. No email to get in contact can only message. I’ve started a message chain 4/5 times and then it take me back to the start. Don’t add delivery+, they say they will refund you if it’s late then they say it’s nothing to do with them (even though you have to raise it through them) and boohoo can barely acknowledge it either. Keep on getting me to confirm the same this. Terrible experience.
Horrific customer service
Horrific customer service. I just need help getting more QR codes for my parcels and nobody is helping me! The boohoo portal is useless too you can’t generate more than one qr code for returns per order but the order came in 5 different parcels! I’m so angry!

Worse company, tried returning an order, they send me QR code that does not work, been trying to request for a returns label for 3 days for me to print at home, cannot understand why they don't understand my request, keep asking me questions and sending me QR code, even though mentioned it does not work, I payed up front to return, they are now saying I have to pay to return via Royal Mail or Evri if I want to print a label at home, such awful service, they offer so many options to pay up front for returning and extra's but does not seem to work. My opion is never to purchase from this online store, cannot even call direct, just stupid AI on web chat. Never again I will purchase from the horrendous online store.
