This is the worst pension service in the country.
My pension used to be managed by my employer Land Rover.It was then given to Mercer to manage and then Benpal.The online website is rubbish,none of the documents are up to date with no documents for 2022(we are now in May).I have contacted Mercer and received an Email today with an attachment which I could not open and an apology which could have been written by a 5 Year old.Mercer are all still working out of office which is one reason for the appauling service.

I received a letter asking me to set up a BEPAL account. I used the activation codes provided but could not set up the account. I called the number provided and hung on for 30 minutes on two occasions with no answer. Thus far a truly awful service

Been trying to access website all day and all I get is "Login Failed". This is now 48 hours of having trouble with site.
Yesterday I had to change my password to log in even though there was nothing wrong with it in the first place. Now, I can't even get the site to load.

I've been trying to sort my pension for over a year, sent emails spoken to team members but still no joy. I have tried signing into my account this morning but you need to enter you date of birth to get anywhere but that set up is a table only you have to go back one month at a time that takes an age and then my experience has been that the table disappeared one I selected date, complete waste of time. Maybe it's designed like that on purpose so you cannot get into the site!!!

It appears that Cadent has possibly been sending personal information, via Mercer, to the Philippines - as it’s mentioned on the Mercer website. And states information can be sent out of the UK.

As you can’t write to the Cadent pension scheme board members directly, there seems to be no way of knowing whether they have approved this.

And Mercer will not give anyone details of their pension in writing, other than trying to use the Benpal website.

And as everyone else states …it’s VERY difficult to get any information from this company(?)

Absolute rubbish . Website never updated . Information out of date . No payslips no pension info. Disaster.

I have been trying to get pension information from Benpal for Months, Filled in three separate message forms and received absolutely nothing, how can Cadent/Mercer employ this joke company. If anyone has a phone number I can try I would be grateful.

Website is terrible, being constantly unable to gain access to MY pension information. Telephoning them is even more frustrating by being on hold for ages, Even sending them messages on their system fails to gain a response.

Pretty easy to access but constantly unable to give me info on my pension "unable to calculate at this time" etc etc I am trying to get a transfer value and its gone from a 6 figure number 5 days ago to zero today!!!

Yes I agree. BenPal is always unavailable.
I am a pensioner of one of the large UK banks and since they switched to using BenPal I get very little information re my pension.
BenPal don’t really do customer service they just collect their fees.

100% useless, then again I’ve only been trying to log in for three months numerous phone calls and emails still nothing . Best advice is pass on log in details to children and grand children just in case you die before being able to access account .

Been trying to log into my benpal account but for some reason it won't let me. Emailed benpal and got Anto response looking all my personal details surely they don't expect me to give personal details out like this.

Terrible company to deal with.
Waited for a request for over 6 weeks with only the occasional reply.
No point of contact and no ability to talk to someone.
Just some crappy form that looks like it was constructed by a 4 year old with limited IT knowledge.

Absolute rubbish platforms, taken me 3 weeks and numerous emails to activate, no codes were excepted in previous attempts, then when I did actually get on site pension details not available, try again later, terrible attitude when contacted,given up , crap company to deal with.

broken.. you should do the decent thing and stop taking on contracts, you cant handle ANY work load.. staff are useless and lazy, your IT is shocking and completely broken, primary school kids could do much much better (honestly true).. benpal is the most incompedent company ever, totaly and uterly discusting waste of peoples time , not fair you even exist, how are you even trading?, it doesnt make any sense at all.. i hope you go bust and its taken out of your hands soon and staff, especially the managers have to go and get real jobs with actual concequencess of your actions, that would be fair.... COMPANYS STOP USING MERCER/BENPAL IT IS ABSOLUTLY WRONG OF YOU TO MOVE OUR PENSIONS INTO THE MANAGEMENT OF THEASE SHITSTERS

Rubbish. I've just been posted a sign in code which doesn't work!! I've tried to email them and got a typical automatic response to give them my very personal information. I've no idea who these people are and am on here looking for some reassurance they are legitimate!?

I've read some of the reviews and this company are shocking I'm not giving them my personal details. The codes they sent me won't work they didn't reply to my email so how can you trust them? My company pension seems to be available through them now but I'm very unsure?

Amazing website. Did manage to get new password set up as existing one failed despite being put in correctly. Total confusion on site trying to access information leads to being told to login to benpal, and round and round goes that cycle. They should be dumped by the original pension provider. 1 out of 5 is too good a mark

I have been trying to get in contact with this company for weeks. They do not answer phone calls and seem to take at least two weeks to respond to emails. I'll be dead by the time i get through to them never mind retired.
