Would rate zero if I could. Benpal used to look after my TPT pension. However at the end of last year i was told that a new website would be created so you couldnt access it for around 3 months. 7 months later and finally after getting access to the website i now cant access my pension. Despite repeated requests for paperwork etc im still in the same situation. I am now desperate for my pension as I have finished work. When you ring they promise to resolve the matter but never do.
I have now got the pension regulator involved. If youve got your money in this scheme i recommend you look seriously at where your money is.

Used to be great, you could access all the info you need and see predictions of pension pot or if you took it as monthly income, good correspondence etc...then about 4 months ago the site went down, emails ceased, no access at all to either TPT or Benpal sites and I just hope the monthly payments I am making are going to the right place as I have no idea what's happening! I am told to wait for an email with new log in details for their new site which according to them is better and easier to use...it was fine before! I was told in April it will be June and now in June I am told it will likely be July...5 months to change a website...really???

Every time i try and access my benpal pension there is a problem, now no access at all. Don't trust this company.

Got an email last year to tell me we were being switched to Mercer Oneview and more information would come shortly. It never did. Now some company called Aptia are telling me to log on to my account to see my pay documents but of course I do not have an account because I was never sent any information re how to get one. So no way to find out about my pension.

I honestly cannot get my head around how much my pension increases every month / year ! £4000 in one year

Is this a scam?
I was sent a letter telling me to log on as a matter of urgency so I have immediately gone on line to create my username and password. Firstly it would't accept my username despite it fitting in with the required parameters.
Went to look at what they have for me, documents, etc and they have nothing.
Cannot check anything at all.
I was able to set my beneficiary so I saved my passwords and logged out.
Tried to log back in again to check that all was correct, but I am unable to, it's clearly the right password and username, but the screens change everytime I enter it, without going anywhere.
I'm very concerned

cant log in to account. they also had the wrong info for me which was giving an inflated projection but it took them a long time to change it.
when they resolved it my pension pot dropped.

To be honest I don't trust them. I'm in my early 60's and need regular access to estimates. Yet I can't access , like that for weeks ! And when I have had access the figures are based on a date in April 2023 - it's nearly Dec 24 now !! I'll be taking this up with my company Pension Team. The sooner we withdraw from this "service the better !!

Emailed them 4 times about beneficiary's and no response from them.not to sure if they are a legitimate pension provider.

The worst experience, unhelpful staff, misinformation, do not use this shoddy company to ‘manage’ your pension! Buyer beware!

Total lack of confidence in them. Mixed answers when asking about my account. Benpal calculator is unacceptable, gives me an inaccurate value, often with a 200k difference between each calculation. Paid AVCs into my pension for years, one person saying its included in the calculation and another saying they have no record of it and its not. No idea what's going on! This is an old Abbey National/santander pension

Will not let me log in, keeps telling me my account is 'not available at this time, try later' I have been trying for weeks and getting nowhere. Why isn't the Pensions Regulator taking this company to task? These Pensions are not their money, people have worked hard to save and when it comes to wanting to draw your pension you have to deal with companies like this! Absolutely disgraceful, they should be struck off and never be aloud to be in business again, what are the people at the top of this organization doing? Just look at the reviews over 90% are 1 star. Pensions regulator get your act together and sort this company out!!!

Continued Uselessness - by the majority of previous reviews. AND VERY WORRYING....

Luckily.... I am regularly receiving my Annuity benefits via JUST.... I have only (recently) contacted BENPAL with regard to checking/ensuring the details of a beneficiary.

I am also getting the disturbing vibe of 'jumping through hoops' to access details of what is MINE...

A company that is apparently in charge of MY benefits - asking me to submit my FULL NAME AND ADDRESS (including postcode), NATIONAL INSURANCE NUMBER, & DATE OF BIRTH....

Is this not the sort of stuff that Consumer Agencies and programmes (and Government websites) advise you NOT TO DO? (..in terms of sharing etc..).

If this is not a criminal scam - it certainly makes a good impression of being a (legal) scam to keep YOUR Pension funds for as long as possible to retain interest on THEIR account - and probably hoping that there will be a very bankable percentage of Pension fundholders that die before they get their money.... adding to Corporate interest %%%

Do not avoid... CHALLENGE, COMPLAIN - TO EVERY CONSUMER BODY/PROGRAMME/AGENCY YOU CAN THINK OF..... Don't... let them get away with it...

Refuses access to account, the link sent by Benpal does not work and the login page tells you it’s invalid. These problems started after I requested to commence payment of my currently deferred MNRPF pension. Seems to me they want to keep my money and prevent my access to my funds. A one star rating is far too generous.

Unable to log in to my account. Says my account is Your account access is temporarily unavailable. Please return later. Useless. Been trying for over a year to check my details, requested link to uodate my password as i thought this might help, link sent was invalid! utter scam!

If I could give them Zero stars I would. Awful company, I keep asking them for a valid log in link and it is always invalid. Can't log in with the original password. I message them and just keep getting invalid links, no proper resolution. Rubbish and useless!

Poor service, unable to get hold of anyone to support. Sent emails but never get any response.

Unable to contact them. My pension inaccessible and frozen. Run to better company

Benpal is so hard to get into just to see how the investment is going!! If down on Friday then you know it will be down till at least Monday afternoon. It’s not good enough.
