I was unsure about this website as no telephone contact no but had a few emails updates. Item delivered no problem via royal mail although not as fast as other delivery companies, excellent website. Ordered highlander boots, first class quality after I had to send back poor quality boots to the Highlander own website. Definitely recommend this company and a lot cheaper. 👍👍

Great choice of products, good pricing and prompt delivery

Amazing customer service! Urgently needed some equipment, and emailed to ask if they could possibly expedite delivery. They emailed back within minutes, and packaged and sent the item within 30 minutes, catching that afternoon's post. Arrived the next working day, in the nick of time!

A long term customer who has never had a bad experience with Back Alley Army Store. They always deliver quality products, on time and communication is great. I even had a pair of boots that were faulty replaced after 4 months and with no hassle or fuss. This will be my go to store for all my outdoor gear.

No trousers in parcel. Emailed & had a response but when I asked for the trousers to be sent out for my Veteran husband RM speed march I had no response. Will now request a refund as my husband needs some soon.

I don't write reviews often but this shop deserves one. I made the mistake of ordering the wrong colour Gilet for my wife's birthday. After she reluctantly accepted she didn't really like the colour I was in touch with customer services who within 3 days received my order back and sent me the correct colour. A very happy customer, a happy wife and even more so a husband in the good books. Thank you all, I will be back for more items.

Michael, who I messaged bent over backwards to arrange a replacement of a heater product clearly faulty at manufacture point. I fully recommend this outfit and would highly recommend buying items from this online store with confidence.

Stay away from this place . I've sent over 30 emails there very miss leading Highlander boots never dispatched. But that day will be dispatched 2.4 days . Boots was never sent after 2weeks I asked for refund to witch they said could be 10 days . Since then I've ordered my boots from highlander Scotland . Paid on Fri was delivered sat morning with 24 hrs now that wotn8 call service . UVE BEEN WARNED VERY FRUSTRATING ... So I've had Ur reply . Ur telling bare face lies . But was never dispatched. Within 2. 4 days Wen I first emailed you it was day 5 . If you like I can add Ur emails replys for all to see . I really don't mind . It was 31 emails sent between us not 50 as you said . If these boots was dispatched you woudnt of refunded moneys till boots was returned . Normal procedure for everyone . After 14 days of frustrating emails . I finally asked for refunf . As enough was enough . Ur poor response times to emails botts was never dispatched . And I'm still waiting for my refund over 2 weeks now from start of sale . So I canceled order . I ordered same boots from highlander Scotland. On Friday and was delivered next workin day witch was Saturday. . If you like to add to this I will upload Ur emails . To trust pilot . Did not arrive on time tried to cancel order as going away camping for 10 days needed the item for my trip .
so item could be left on my doorstep for .it is the 14/10/2024 still refusing to reply to me so have been left with no option.and have now contacted trading standard.

I placed over a week so will probably be stolen before I return from my trip .
Total waist of time ordering from this business if you are depending on it arriving on time.
Have been waiting 10 days up to now . follow up it is now the 8/10/24 and I have not had a refund yet after canceling the order on the 19/9/24 . received a email from supplier telling me I would receive my refund if I edit this post on here .
I will not be black mailed into doing any such thing my next step will be trading standard as the supplier is not friendly or helpful in any way.
I hope you will think twice before getting involved with this business. Follow up at the point off canceling the order Royal Mail tracking was showing it had not been collected from you that was 9 days after I placed the order so if your business gave the parcel to Royal Mail you should have proof of it.if you have it has obviously been lost in transit by Royal Mail and yet you are still punishing me as a innocent customer.and you make out you are a friendly helpful business.has the parcel been showing delivered on the tracking as I can assure you I have checked my CCTV and definitely no parcel was delivered or stolen at my house .so you really need to take the issue up with Royal Mail. And just to point out the fact the only time I get a reply from your business is through trust pilot . . Still no refund tracking number for my delivery is MZ236742756GB royal mail clearly states that this business has not passed the item on to Royal Mail.feel like I have been scammed from this business and they are refusing to give me my money back for a item I have not received .it is now the 9/10/24 almost 1 months from the original order. I will keep updating this review until the issue has been resolved.it is now the 12/10/24 and I can't get a reply via email or through trust pilot. So looks like you are not the the friendly helpful business you make your self s out to be . It is now the 14/10/24 and still no communication back from this business.
It is 21/10/24 and they are on the verge of breaking the law as it is law that if a item was not received within a month the company have 14 days to issue a refund and I still have not received any correspondence that a refund has been issued or is being issued it is now the 23/10/24 I have emailed the company twice since the last update and had no reply.
Under the consumer act 2015 I should have had my refund by now so it is looking like I am dealing with a scam company.

The equipment these guys sell is top quality and at a really good price,
The customer service is out of this world I don’t think I’ve ever come across a company that has customer service like it, had a slight mix up with a delivery and it was literally an instant reply and that was at 19:30, and the mix up has been sorted promptly and efficiently, I can’t recommend this company enough.

They were very quick to exchange a pair of trousers for me after I ordered the wrong size,very friendly company will get my business again

On the website upon completion of my order including payment they stated that I would receive a email within 2-4 working days containing confirmation that my item has been dispatched, after 7 days I contacted the seller with no response 4 days later. From the date of purchase to now has been 11 days with the only emails I have received are promotions of products, 16 days later and the only message I am receiving are for me to change the review or to contact customer service (as if that wasn't my first point of call)
So after over a month of constant emailing the company makes more and more excuses and have tried passing the blame, do not use this company

All arrived in good order and tracked , and fitted well .

Ordered from this site as they had what I needed, and shipping times were good for when I needed it. Website says dispatched in 2-4 working days with 24hour tracked shipping. Well, I ordered last Friday, had an email on Wednesday that it has been dispatched. It is now Friday again, and Royal Mail are still saying they haven't received the shipment.

Absolutely appalling service, I ordered some combat shorts on 13th July medium and received small, which obviously didn't fit. I returned the item by Royal Mail 48 tracked which was delivered 29/7/24. I had to pay for the return and have had no contact from this company, I have emailed them several times without any reply, they have no contact phone number so I am at a loss what to do. I just want me shorts Medium, or a refund. I will never use this company again.

It took a while, but have resolved the issue and have been offered a refund including my return postage. I spoke to a very nice man who was very apologetic and explained the reasons for the delay. He also offered to send me my shorts at cost price when they are in stock.
