No Refund due to selling car
I have sold my car today and therefore cancelled the policy. Customer Services inform me that with the admin fee I am not due a refund so actually paying til 12th September for a car I don't own anymore. This is unbelievable.

Easy to set up and understand the policy…
Easy to set up and understand policy for a car. Aviva's website seemed very user-friendly whilst staying professional.
What a pity they failed at the last hurdle by disallowing my 9 years NCD. Computer said no. Tried a human....same! At no time have I stopped driving. Luckily, not all insurers are the same, and another company got the business.

Very, very frustrating to deal with.
Cancelled a life insurance policy some six weeks ago.
Nine phone calls later totalling just over 3 hours I still have not received my money.
I chased the bank to see if there was a hold up there end, I was informed that I would have to supply them with a CHAPS Id number.
Despite the above number of phone calls & time waisted Aviva are unable to advise me of this Id number.
I have been promised the earth by their customer service team but to no avail, to be fair the people I have spoken with appear to have done their best in contacting the payment dept which is where the problem appears to be.
I have been informed that they have sent emails to me with the Id number, I've received none, they have no proof of sending it when asked, requested twice for a line manager to contact me I've received none.
So they are either totally inefficient, incompetent by not being able to supply a simple Id number, or the money has not been send & I am been fobbed off with lies with is fraudulent.
Stay sane by NOT using this company.
