Such a con

Such a con, just ordered. It did not say how long delivery would take, now sent an email
Saying it will take 2 months. This breaches Uk consumer law, do not order from them, I’m doing a charge back. Unbelievable total con.

I love shopping on Abbot Lyon

I love shopping on Abbot Lyon! Such an easy website to navigate and the jewellery is such high quality. I have pieces that I have worn daily (including in the shower) for over a year and they haven’t tarnished at all or lost quality. I will forever be buying!

An earring I bought broke

An earring I bought broke. I started a live chat and explained. I was quickly transferred to a live agent and after a brief description, order number confirmation and a photo I was immediately given credit for the full amount paid. Excellent customer service from Siphamandla with Abbot Lyon. It’s the first time I’ve had an issue with any of their pieces and it’s was handled amazingly well!

Placed my order may 11th I understood…

Placed my order may 11th I understood that it would take a while as I ordered a name necklace with two birth stones. I have received an email today a month later informing me they no longer do birth stones so my order has been cancelled and was not offered a refund instead I was given a code for store credit bit disappointed with the time frame of letting me know that my order was no longer available.

Perfect as always!

I bought the silver white cushion earrings and they are absolutely gorgeous! They are so sparkly and the stone is beautiful. Delivery was quick and customer service perfect as always!

Never again!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Abbott Lyon has been incredibly disappointing.
I placed an order for a personalised photo locket on 5 June as a birthday gift. Having previously purchased a similar personalised locket from Abbott Lyon last year and received it within approximately two weeks, I had no reason to expect any issues.
After coming up to a couple of weeks waiting with no updates, I contacted customer services and was informed that my order may not arrive until October. That is a potential wait of more than four months for a personalised necklace. Had this been made clear at the point of purchase, I would never have placed the order.
What I find particularly concerning is that while I am being told my order cannot be fulfilled until October, the same product is currently advertised on the Abbott Lyon website with an estimated delivery date of July. It is difficult to understand how a new customer can apparently receive the same item sooner than someone who placed their order at the beginning of June.
The explanation given was that the company is making improvements to its workshop and supply chain. Whilst I appreciate businesses face operational challenges, customers should not be expected to absorb the consequences of internal delays after payment has been taken. A business has a responsibility to provide realistic delivery expectations and fulfil orders within a reasonable timeframe.
To make matters worse, when I requested a refund due to the excessive delay, I was informed that because the item is bespoke, a refund would not be offered. Instead, I was offered store credit. If my personalised necklace is in production why is it going to take another 4 months?. I did not purchase store credit; I purchased a gift that was expected within a reasonable timeframe and has still not been delivered.
The lack of transparency, the contradictory delivery information, and the refusal to provide a proper resolution have left me with very little confidence in this company. Based on my experience, I would urge anyone considering ordering a personalised item to think very carefully and to take advertised delivery dates with caution.
Extremely disappointed.

Always love the jewellery I have…

Always love the jewellery I have purchased over the years.
It always arrives promptly and very well packaged.
Had a problem with an item on one occasion and was helped with my query and it was solved very quickly, excellent customer service. I would highly recommend.
