Really disappointing experience with Wowcher. Vouchers for city break purchased via Wowcher, for travel with Travelolo. Travelolo is operating as a complete scam, offering flights that go out and return from different airports (over 70 miles away) and on flights that wouldn’t allow for the minimum time at destination as advertised. Alternatives were offered but at an additional 90% of the original purchase price. Having declined these and requested a refund, they then proceeded to try and up sell alternatives, using pressurised techniques. Despite requesting refunds multiple times from Wowcher and Travelolo, there has still been no resolution, with Wowcher putting the onus on Travelolo and Travelolo not responding. Wowcher had my money and should be accountable for sorting this out. I would avoid both of these companies at all costs

Wowcher customer service the only way I could actually get through to any customer service was through WhatsApp which I was assured twice that they would sort things out and then in the end they asked me to try and use my phone number I tried to do the same thing but it's still didn't recognize my address but finally they've sorted out my voucher and they tell me it should be here in eight working days which I don't understand why they say eight working days because there's only 7 days in one week so I don't know what eight working days is but hopefully I will get my new phone and if I do and it works and it I'm not gonna lie it the price was amazing let's see I'll keep you updated but the only problem is I'm scared to order something else just in case I go through the same thing but the stuff they have on there is amazing bargains but the voucher business is too much

I received an email informing me that I have £20 applied to my account and had to use it before midnight, I came to make an order but there was no £20 so I looked in my Wowcher wallet but that was also empty.
Contacted Wowcher via WhatsApp but I didn't get a satisfactory response, so I got InTouch again but they have just ignored me.
About a month earlier similar problem happened they informed me they put £5 into my Wowcher wallet but it showed nothing but on that occasion they than credit me with the amount.
Disappointed I couldn't use the £20 as I have been a good customer and this has put a sour taste in our relationship.
The internet equivalent of a dodgy market stall
Wowcher are the internet equivalent of a dodgy market stall selling counterfeit goods. Ordered a Samsung phone which was advertised as returned goods showing signs of wear & tear. Wasn't expecting much for what I paid, I expected it may be in poor condition, I even had a sneaking suspicion it wouldn't be a genuine Samsung, but I at least expected something that worked. However when it finally arrived (from China) not only was it a cheap, plastic, unbranded knock off it also refuses to charge past 50%. Of course Wowcher tell you to take your quibbles to the supplier rather than themselves. I can't be bothered to raise a return and go to all the trouble of trying to post it back to China, I've absolutely no doubt they will claim they never received it back and refuse my refund. Wowcher know full well what they're doing with this voucher system, it absolves them from the responsibility of resolving customer disputes whilst they can continue to peddle inferior / fake / faulty goods

Last email from them was July 18th asking me how I would like the refund. Replied immediately- yet still no refund. Totally awful company to deal with. They just don't care, have no clue on orders/returns monitoring and don't bother responding, hoping you will forget the matter. Their WhatsApp customer service point is equally awful and useless- sends you round and round with same questions until you get fed up and exit. Legal action i think is my next step.

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. They have ignored dozens of emails re a fraudulent seller, and their WhatsApp is automated nonsense. You can't even call them. Diabolically bad as they are the platform owner and the only once who can sort my issue, yet they refuse to engage. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Saw an advert on Google for a half price game console. Clicked on it, liked what I saw, and paid the £19.99 to "order it."
30 mins later, I checked my emails and saw no confirmation email, so logged into site and saw I know needed to "redeem" my order ... Which necessitated a £5.99 additional payment for shipping and had to be done via a new website.
Main concerns are that the full cost was not fully shared upfront and, if not for being pedantic, I wouldn't have "redeemed" the offer and actually made an order despite paying.

I ordered a mens hair grooming product never arrived. Order 61406083. Tracking number given not recognised on link they sent either. 3 emails asking for refund ignored. I think it's a scam and really avoid it folks.
P.S. the product arrived today 11th August almost a month since ordered! So not a scam just ridiculous way to do business and communication is zero with them.
Wrong Size Shed, No Floor, False Advertising – Weeks of Delays, Still No Refund from Wowcher

I ordered a shed through Wowcher and the entire experience has been unacceptable and deeply frustrating.
The product description on your site was incorrect, and you sent the wrong size shed. Not only was the wrong product sent it was the smaller one which was cheaper than what I had paid for.
The delivery date was wrong, and the driver left before I could inspect it.
The shed had no floor, which was never stated in the listing.
After starting assembly (which took two people over two days, not the 2–3 hours advertised) we discovered the size error.
Multiple attempts to contact Wowcher went unanswered until I left a review — only then did they agree to refund if the shed was returned.
I made it clear I would not dismantle and repack a shed that was mis-sold. I asked them to collect and dismantle it themselves.
Instead, you keep sending the same messages asking me to do the dismantling.
The product was misrepresented, the service has been poor, and the delays feel like stalling tactics. Wowcher should refund in full immediately and take responsibility for removing the shed themselves.
A company that mis-sells a product should not expect the customer to fix their mistake — it’s time for Wowcher to act with integrity and resolve this in full.
After four reviews - Wowcher has said someone will be in touch to sort this out. I AM STILL WAITING!

Absolute Scam. They hide behind small print. You call them (Sean) and they say they will refund you. They hope you give in.
Thankfully I paid via Credit card, so I will receive a chargeback. I appreciate not everyone will have this luxury.
I am currently in discussions with my lawyer. I am taking these scammers to court to prevent them doing this to other genuine hard working people. trading standards are investigating.
They advertise on Wowcher showing discounts on trips. When you book, they tell you it needs 2 vouchers. this takes a £250 trip with P&O to 2x 170. So significantly more.
No sane person would pay over £100 more. They know this and say its tough and you should have read the small print.
i suggest they read up on legal rights in the uk .

I bought a kids pass through wowcher and tried redeeming the code to claim my kids pass and it wouldn't work, contacted kids pass to see if they could help who told me that the wowcher code had expired in 2023 and advised I contacted wowcher for a replacement code, tried contacting wowcher to help with this situation and they have been no help at all, every time I chase it up I keep getting told to wait x number of days and someone will be in touch and they never are. The service is shocking!

I purchased a Wowcher holiday on 28 July 2025 and redeemed the voucher the same day. Prime Holidays failed to deliver the holiday advertised, ignored multiple requests for proof of the flights they claimed existed, and tried to push me into upgrading to more expensive flights or accepting a UK staycation instead of the Venice holiday I paid for.
When challenged, they could not even name the airline for the “Option 1” flights, raising serious concerns that these cheaper flights were never real and used as bait to upsell customers. This is misleading advertising and potentially illegal under UK consumer law.
The same offer is still being sold on Wowcher for the same dates and price despite them claiming they cannot honor my booking.
They appear to have multiple appearances online but it doesn't take long to see just how many others have had similar experiences.
I’ve been forced to escalate this matter to Trading Standards, Citizens Advice, and my bank to recover my money. I strongly urge anyone considering this company to stay away - they are unreliable, untrustworthy, and may be breaching consumer protection laws.
